I refer to this as 'The Puyol factor'. Amazed at what we achieved last year without the Puyol factor.

He has a bruised rib, so nothing to do with his knee. Just bad luck.

Pique would probably have played vs. Gijon anyway.

This is an extremely worrying trend.

Not at all. He got hit by Valdes or BATE striker early on the game while clearing the ball in the penalty box. It has nothing to do with age or being injury prone.

I think VV hit him with the buttons straight in the ribs, and he still played all 90 mins. He is still made of concrete.
