I guess he stays, he better get his shit together than. I don't have high hopes really, so he can't really let me down - he already fucked up in so many important moments, can't really get any worse

This is do or die season

Despite everything, I don't think this dude has bad mentality

And if he commits himself to the full, he has team of top professionals around him, there is time to improve on everything he is lacking and to maximize his strengths

I think Flick can turn him into a monster but we'll see. Araujo needs to learn some new tricks. Not just trust his physical tools but play with head.

I also don't think dude has a bad mentality. It's his football IQ and technique that is bad 🫣 Cubarsi had better technique and fotballing IQ when he was 15 ffs.

Then how come he lacked the guts to admit he fecked up vs PSG? We all saw it, we all know we were 2 goals ahead when he had his what the fuck moment. Just own up to it like a man.

Realizing you made a mistake is the first thing you have to do to correct it for the future. I am not sure at all that in this head he knows he became a master at fucking up in big games. He seems in denial like Stegen was.

I don't care about admiting things if I sense you know you fecked up. But with him, I see a soft mentality that is deflecting responsability. He has the appearance of a leader, but he doesn't behave as one at all.

He has this season to prove himself. 2 seasons of fucking up is enough. If this season he doesn't deliver at a good level, he's officially our new terrorist.

Yeah he's a clown but it's not a issue of mentality.

This guy just doesn't have it. Technical skills on the ball or intelligence.

No club was even rumored to be interested in triggering his lowered buyout clause this month lol. In a time where pretty much all elite teams rely on ball playing CBs, you can see why.

Exactly, this is the thing - dude is thick and below par skills for any position at Barca. He has some attributes that would work in Flick's system, but the negatives outweigh them.

I hope he can redeem himself this season, he hasn’t been himself since he got that big injury in November 2023. Before that he was pretty great for us.

He needs to channel his inner Puyol - God knows Carles wasn't technically gifted, but he is probably top 3 all time CB's due to his tenacity, physicality and determination mixed with his leadership abilities.

The difference is Puyol is S tier mentality wise, only Leo, Dani, Xavi, Busquets and Don Andres were at the same level or above.
