32 - Héctor Fort

He is better on the left than the right.

But I'm dissapointed In what he has been showing. Lacks defensive intensity, focus and grit.

Still, would hope the club and him do the right thing and find a suitable loan. He has been better than all of Grimmy, Cucu, Miranda, Montoya as a youth players here.

Miranda I agree, but Grimaldo & Montoya held their own in Segunda and looked great. Montoya was equally bad with first team while Grimaldo didn't get a chance.

Cucu for me was much better player, but this is debatable depending on who you ask.

I just don't see it with the kid. His profile screams a late bloomer (if he ever makes it) and he was rushed way too early.

Miranda is actually a decent comparison in terms of the situation. He ultimately made it to CL football, had same physical profile (same height and speed) and was forced onto the coach too early in his career.

Seems like a street footballer. Like maybe he can nutmeg people in 5 a side on the weekend.

He looks out of place in high level football.

I didn't exclusively follow Fort, but was he originally a CB turned Fullback, or was he always exclusively a fullback?

I hope he goes on loan to a serious club in La Liga,EPL or Portugal.

I like farre more, but the problem with him is game time and not talent.

Just needs a solid season maybe two of constant game time and be could easily be our cancelo.

He can easily be on loan for 3 years and be a better player. The guy has quality.
But lacks experience and needs to develop his mentality.

That trying to shoot and score during the dying minutes of the game is all I needed to know. He needs a longer loan spell to mature.

I'd keep him, play him as LW backup when needed  No but for real, dude is great going forward...
