For me, it's a BIG NO.

He came back from a terrible injury. I don't trust the girona medical team enough to send them one of our most talented player.

He cannot play too many matches this season. I fear that he will play too many matchs for girona and there is a risk of injury relapse.

Let him stays with our team for the rest of season to get him back on his feet physically and help him build up his strength for the next season.

He is an important player for Hansi Flick.

Tough one tbh, Girona seems like a good destination and our loans has recently improved tbh.
But it feels Bernal is the kind of talent you want to grow close from home rather than outsourcing it.

Casado is working hard defensively, but there isn't really much talent - Bernal shows talent and technique. Simple really...

The setup didn’t do him many favors. We switched to a 4-1-4-1 and the two pressing Bilbao forwards screened him out of the game. He couldn’t receive the ball without the third player.

Surprised somewhat that Flick didn’t go with Dro, even as DM instead of Bernal. Hansi has so far been cautiously reintegrating the kid (usually at home) into the rotation and he was not sharp enough in his cameo

Wouldn’t read too much into mop up duty of a blowout though

It will take some time before he is back to his best. And even then it will take some time before he develops in a proper midfielder. Because even before injury he played 5 games for us
