Need him back asap.

The best midfielder the team has and the only one that can help to mitigate the weaknesses of 'best DM in the world' Busi.

That Busi Pedri Gavi midfield is nowhere near what Xavi keeps trying to force it to be currently.

Xavi's tactics in a nutshell-

1) Isolate wingers alone against sideline where they can do nothing

2) Start Busi so he can walk around for 90 minutes and allow them to counter us all game long

3) Have no plan at all what so ever for Pedri and Gavi and watch them run around like chickens with their heads cut off all game, meanwhile there is a massive hole in the center of midfield the whole time

Agree.

We just don't have versatile and good players to play 4-3-3 and have Busqets in game.

We lack like new 3 or 4 players.

Our squad is very decent, and outside Busquets our midfield is in a good place. You just can't expect other players to cover another players weaknesses every single game when he doesn't offer much benefit, if any at all, for doing so. It forces our other quality players to not play to their strengths and be out of their favorable positions.

DM is our problem, more than any other position on the team. By far. Night and day.

First step on our way to becoming a top side again is taking skeletor out to the trash. Second is getting a LW, like a real LW. Mitoma for a decent fee before his value continues to go up would be fantastic.

Exactly.

How on earth can they spend 220m+ and 120m odd on wide players that play in way dont suit and be left with Bus at DM while thinking he along with Pedri and Gavi is balanced midfield.

It is bizarre and would imagine it is something they will try best to correct this summer... if Busi does what he needs to and fucks off.

Frenkie is the actual 'silent impact'.

Never seems to get a lot of praise for the games he plays, but there is a night and day difference between when he is and isn't there.

All our best performances come with him on the field and most of the worst ones with him off. He is making a difference.

Pedri-FDJ-Gavi in the small sample size we had worked significantly better than what we have ever seen out of Pedri-Busi-Gavi for Club and Country.

The gist of that Midfield is deluding yourself into the idea that having two young CMs have the legs in front of him that can help migrate an aging Busi. The problem is Lucho and Xavi couldn't and in Xavi's case still cannot grasp that Busi has declined significantly to a point where the only way we could try and protect Busi is by further hamstringing the team by further sacrificing the attack and Midfield by covering his ass.

Busi's done, the guy can't move can't pass a ball, and can't deal with pressure anymore, he's a walking corpse of a player. Both Pedri and Gavi play much better when they have FDJ behind them for support as they don't have to fucking worry about having to babysit someone who can't move anymore.

Amazing how hard we were trying to get rid of him during the summer and deluded themselves in chasing B. Silva and when that failed FDJ ended up getting benched for a bit in favor of the Pedri-Busi-Gavi Midfield as in trying to send some message that "Oh we got these two amazing kiddos and Busi and we also have Kessie for Competition!" only for it to laughably blow up in their face.
