I hope the translation I read is correct

Finally some voice of reason from a ruling body. FFP was created to monitor clubs from destroying themselves financially, not sabotage them when there are options. Doesn't have to be draconian like CSD points out. Flexible. Barca have liquidity, Sevilla FC don't. Their salary cap is set at 2.5m and none of it is our fault. They hate us. Fuck them.
Tebas has his own biases (He's a Madridista) but if there's one thing that he loves more is being a draconian asshole that loves the idea of being "I'M THE BOSS OF YOU AND THERE's NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT"

He's the only league president out there who makes himself known and intentionally. Everything this guy does even if he wants to be the Good guy he always stashes a poison pill that forces clubs to take the knee like the CVC Deal.

In theory, FFP can be useful but Tebas took that concept and took it to far more extremes for his own benefit. It's all for "Control" and took advantage of the Covid and the aftermath to get desperate clubs to sign the CVC deal which had a lot of bad shit in it.

Of course, we didn't sign the deal and he's mad about it and still is. We did a lot of work which included selling off assets etc in order to sign and register players and he kept changing the rules consistently over time.

It's only a matter of time before Tebas gets a bad enough black eye in the face from a legal battle that his FFP controls are way to draconian and not flexible enough because he's obsessed with control.

Felix Bolaños (Minister of Justice): The precautionary measure approved yesterday by the Supreme Sports Council for players Dani Olmo and Pau Victor is a temporary decision aimed at avoiding damage that cannot be repaired. The legal arguments are public and I am confident that the Committee will resolve the proceedings and appeals in accordance with the law.

Translation:
The Supreme Sports Council did not study anything in regard to the case in matter, as Laporta apologists would hope. They merely ruled that Barcelona have an interest (with legal status) that would be harmed ("damage that cannot be repaired") if the player is not registered.

In other words, if the final verdict in April is that Olmo should have been registered, Barcelona might have recorded 'unrepaired damage' the months from now to April. For that reason, they precautionary issued that the player should be able to play until the case is legally studied and resolved

No shit.

The question is who and how will pay the bill of Olmo and the other dude playing 4 months basically illegally?

and if court rules Liga was justified in not registering later on

can other clubs sue to dock points if so

Possible.
Other teams can then make a legal case of 'damage' to their own interests by games where Olmo participated.

That's always the legal world THO. Compensations/reparations can always be claimed
