Promising start and delivery in big matches. The talent and the confidence he has, I think he's the best wingback at Barca since our dear rapist Dani Alves.

Was Ronaldinho like the other day but also a game where Porto tried to swarm FDJ and Gundo and left acres of space out wide in a high line.

That has not when Barca have been struggling with as much recently and not something often face.

Need to see how set up goes v that deep 5 at back so often come up against.

Raphinha should start on other side again. Quality wise he was poor and decision making seemed rash but needs a run of games to see if can get going and Lamal needs time out team.

what about raphinia instead of pedri and yamal on the wing?
pedri is not good at AM. he needs to go deeper anyway.

He is playing well, but in no way should a club rely on him longterm.

The guy is an absolute psycho head wise.

He'll just randomly disappear (literally), quit football or break his contract on any random day.
There is a reason why both City and Bayern let him go.

Hint: his psycho personality and being unpredictable.

Anyway, the argument that Bayern didn't want him is stupid. They had enough wingbacks and a buy clause for 70 mil€, it's normal they didn't pay that. If he would be avaliable for 20-30 mil it would be a different story. Also he played a lot for Pep and he lost his starting spot when Pep completly changed his formation and stopped playing with offensive wingbacks. Before that he played great for Juve and moved on for a better team in City. I really don't get which are all the clubs where he caused problems? It's a normal career path.

It's a long season, we will judge him in the summer. For now he is the our best wingback since 2016 Alves or maybe Jordi in those years.

Was about to post the same thing. Why are people trying to make out he is a problem child when there is absolutely no evidence of that what so ever? Just enjoy arguably the best full back performance in Europe this season against Porto.

Typical of this echo chamber of a forum to look for the cloud on a sunny day.

Thomas Tuchel was quizzed on Cancelo’s time in Germany and why Bayern opted against a permanent move for him.

He told reporters in Tokyo: “Never football reasons (behind his return). He is a fantastic football player.

“It was just that we have Alphonso Davies back, full strength from injury and we decided to sign Rapha Guerreiro as a free agent. So it was a matter of position and a matter of finance. He helped us a lot in the half a year he played for us. He is a fantastic guy and a fantastic footballer. That is why.”
Two versions - either the guy is a complete psycho or Bayern were unwilling to spend money on his transfer.

Barça are considering advancing the signings of João Félix and João Cancelo to January. City hope to get about 25 million euros that Barcelona hope to lower to about 15. In any case, both players are clear that they don't want to return. @ffpolo

I hate when players make horrible decisions with 2-3 ninutes left when you know that you'll have only 2 actions till the end.

At 2:3 after Lewa's header miss, Barca had the momentum, the ball gets to him at a LB, and instead of playing the ball to our Cbs who will switch the side and send the ball to Jamal, he tries a pass to Jamal from 60-80 meters away, and the ball was high, slow and intercepted easily.

After that, he makes a foul, we lose another 60 seconds and we didn't make another chance.
