I agree with most of your takes about last night but Yamal showed me a crazy playing level in these few games that bodes well. Very big mistake in the break at the end but he’s 17 and this will make him better.

I was thinking about what Van Basten said about how the kid still probably doesn't touch the ball enough and that he should play more centrally, presumably as a #10

This is not a terrible idea despite how uniquely lethal he is as a RW but it would mean switching to a double pivot, Raph back to RW and Nico on LW?

He will play in central in future. But look at current winger state then it won't be soon.

Kinda stopped reading, when the BBZ chimped in with another of his 80 IQ takes being a keyboard monkey with animal intelligence that he is. And generally cannot take Barcaforum in aftermaths of matches like these. All the "sell" posts and hundreds of other one-liners, especially from posters, who don't even ever participate in any regular discussion with more than a three word chimp scream.

But just wanted to say few things what i think on Lamine and generally after this glorious shitshow.

The guy was absolutely wrecking, ass-raping and toying with supposedly most sturdy defense in the world from minute one to minute 120 and created countless chances from himself and others, while being babyface teen with the brackets in teeth.

His worse decision making was at the end at 3:2, where he could've keep ball, especially with numerical superiority, but it's unknown if crazy man Flick or any of his experienced teammates actually telegraphed that to him. I'm p. sure not and if that post shit would've gone it, many of you songbirds would sing 180 angle different song.

He didn't have much help from teammates all match long and and it was obvious that most of our guys, including entire midfield were just clueless to create in any other way than to leave it to Lamindependencia. He rarely wasted good passes to him, while others often wasted good/great passes by Lamine.

Guy got denied by some of the best saves in this season (imagine Sommer being a Barca goalie for last 10 years instead of fake aryan) and goalpost, while being just several inches away to clinch it with goal or assist in many other situations and still finding blame on him.
The guy is just miraculous given he's a kid getting on full blown ready to kill for whatever cost adult gladiators and dismantling them for time and time again. For me better than Pele at same age, because of overall play and not being baby sited by stacked team of seasoned superstars.

Tl;dr: Barca of this year is hopelessly trophyless without him. He's exponentially more important for this Barca than Messi for 2009-2011 Barca.

Once he improves his finishing, its game over for his opponent. My only gripe with him is his cocky predictions before matches. I think he did the same last season before the PSG game, and then we lost. Hopefully this will be a humbling experience.
