16 - Fermín López

He tends to have these games where nothing really works for him and then you start to wish Olmo would be in only to realize how shit he also is nowadays. At least this time around Fermin managed to be good for few games straight, hopefully that wasn't a fluke.

He is just chaotic. Very inconsistent with his decisions on and off the ball. Nobody knows what he will do including himself, and it can mean he scores, it can also make him a very hard player to play with.

Good player and has some big strengths but I wouldn't start him in these kind of high level games because it can go seriously wrong. He is tactically inconsistent and its hard to rely on him in games where some nuance is needed, sometimes he needs to slow down the game but he can only play on one setting.

The cycle Fermin - Olmo again.

Would like to see Olmo back at AM but closer to the other two in midfield and less about crashing box/being support for Lewa.

Fermin for me was far far too high up v Chelsea and didnt have the quality to hold ball when did get it.

Olmo deeper and calmer and not looking to get ball on half turn every time with back to goal going for throat.

Adds a bit more height also.

Even though I like him, if we could get 100M and he accepts to leave on his own terms - I'd take it.

If we could get 100m for any of our midfielders excluding Pedri, I would take it in a heartbeat. None of them bar Pedri is worth that much.
