He will be very important this season, but I would opt for somebody else after the summer.

If he performs or becomes our starter, while staying available for the rest of the season. I wouldn't mind extending his contract, but maybe with a slightly lower salary.
Think he would be fine accepting this term. Don't see any big clubs going for him, and he wouldn't get anywhere close to the salary he's getting in any mid-table club.
