14 - Marcus Rashford

I liked his performance on balance - there's obvious room for improvement, just needs time

I think that time will help with understanding his teammates in these tight spaces, several instances in 1st half you could see some of his involvements broke down due to miscommunication or simple absence of rhythm in the link up understanding

One shot where he could have at least got it on target but it was with his weaker left

Agree in general.

The thing he def. needs to learn is where and when to move, relative to the movements of his teammates. That bit is lacking, and is what makes all the difference.

If he manages that, he will find himself in positions to score a lot

I just remember there were at least 2 or 3 1-2s that he simply went the wrong way, once where Casado didn't actually play the right pass forward but again feels like a chemistry issue - that 2nd nature understanding of where to exploit an opening

I saw him working hard defensively & offensively and enthusiastic, looks a player with a point to prove which again can only be good for Barça

A cross which could have been easily intercepted by the Valencia defender = a great assist.

Some in here have either lost their marbles or are watching another sport.

Nah you are just fuming when Barca win.

Was a top ball in and exactly area between GK and defence that causes confusion.

He could have less goals/assists and still be bigger impact.. dependent on when gets them or how he can stretch games to help Yamal etc.

Felix also played that AM/second striker role a lot more while Rashford is being used more for width.

Despite his flaws, Felix is a more technically gifted player compared to Rashford. Im tempted to say Rashford is a speed merchant but that would be harsh. Wide forward with good pace and decent finish.

dude just watch the highlights

i dont care about stats

you can clearly see in the videos that he went past his defender several times, just because it wasnt close enough to the man it isnt counted as successful dribbling

compare with last season when we looked lost without Yamal, nobody expected 6 goals without him, having a winger with pace made it way easier to create attacks

Felix was a good transfer and he did well here

but we cant compare stats as Felix played like Jammy said as AM or even as 2nd striker while Rashy is a pure winger

i see it even at Al-Nassr Felix steals Ronaldo's space in the box, i always scream 'GO AWAY BRO, that's not your territory'

think Hansi gave Rashy the instructions to stay wide so he can open space with dribblings and his pace which worked well yesterday, could stay closer to goal sometimes as i think his finishing isnt bad either
