What will prove his worth is if wide players are not missed fully when out and he has to play and more importantly the big games when open and all on the line.. can he produce moments then on some occassion.

Doubt Barca sign him just need him to be a positive this season.

If he can't get on the scoring sheet in a 6-0 drubbing not a good look imo. This was one of the easiest games of the season.

I liked what I saw. Yes could have done better, would like to see him shoot more, tries to complicate stuff in front of the goal. But I am satisfied.
He brings a different style as a backup, hence we have options. The only player after Yamal, who looks to take on his opponent, and we lack that immensely on the LW.
Started 2 out of 4 games, and subbed in for more than 25 mins for the other two. He improved this game, looked more confident.

Quite satisfied, he's doing exactly what I wanted from a backup.

Here he should have gone inside for a shot but was perhaps more concerned with returning the favor to Fermin who stole the ball, even though it was the least interesting option.

It’s not that simple. It was both a good cross and a bad mistake by the defender

He would never succeed here under Xavi or similar manager. In Flick's system that allows taking more risks he can try his take-ons without scrutiny of counting lost balls.

I liked his performance on balance - there's obvious room for improvement, just needs time

I think that time will help with understanding his teammates in these tight spaces, several instances in 1st half you could see some of his involvements broke down due to miscommunication or simple absence of rhythm in the link up understanding

One shot where he could have at least got it on target but it was with his weaker left

Compare that to Roony who I think was fairly anonymous in the 1st half, partly down to nerves but also in that he was most effective when he came in as an inside forward with Jules overlapping on the wing

I have my issues with Bojan, but at least when a player he doesn't rate or whatever plays we'll he can admit it.

He had a good game and gives us something to that only yamal offers in the entire squad, the ability to beat his man off the dribble.
