Very good decision just to extend one year until 2028. He'll be 29 next month and his playing style is very physically demanding. You can expect him to start running slower and less in around 2-3 years.
Bartomeu would have given him a new 5-6 year contract with a huge salary after such a season, that we wouldn't be able to get rid off again.

I am fine with Inigo. He more than proved him last season and in the ideal world he wouldn't be a starter but a very good sub. Just like Christensen. They can occasionally start though.

I mean I never believed he could have a season like this with his overall game. It's insane season for any player. Career season for sure.
If we get 80% of this, that would be amazing.

Because he has far more G+A (22) than all of them in CL, Baljeet. Which this graphic “conveniently” leaves out.

This doesn’t take the CL into account where I believe Raphinha was the best player in that CL season.
He was failed by his teammates in Milan, he should’ve been the one to score the winning goal that would’ve taken us to Munich but life’s not fair I guess.
