Yeah Bernardo isn't going to join to play for less than 20m gross at least. That just isn't happening when there's strong reports about Gundogan wanting 10m net/20m or so gross.

No it's being reported he want 10m net. Maybe they agree a deal to 8m net in the end.
Bernardo is not going to take less than that. Most likely 10m net.

No read again. Everywhere they say our offer is 6m net, doesn't matter how much he wants.
Either he accepts that or he isn't coming

Raphinha is on 6m net per year.
No way in hell Bernardo Silva agrees to that. Seems doubtful to me even Gundogan will.
These guys are premium players too unlike Raphinha who made his first big move.

Raphinia came here as a big thing.
Of course it didn't work out and he is trash, but we plaid a good EPL tax.
The wage structure is clear since LAporta took over. 10m net is the cap, and their goal is to make all well below the cap
Lewa is getting 10m net right now, and the next best paid are Dembele and Ansu at 6.somthing NET
(excluding people like FDJ Busi Alba who have Bartomeu contracts)

Both Silva and Gundogan better stay far away as possible from Barca. We don't need more scrubs, we need to build a team for the future. Gundogan could of course do ok as a CM sub for us, but definitively not in the Busi-role.

Kounde, Aruajo, FDJ, pedri, Gavi, Balde, Fati, raphinha, Dembele, kessie.
Whatever we think about those players individually are all around 27 or much younger.
When people say build for the future & old players, this has that, just a bit of prospective needs to be added.
And if we play the possible transfer game, we aren't only linked with players in there 30's
Add diaz, roque, promote yamal to that it's even more young players.
Adding/having 2 or 3 players in your starting XI and about 5 in your squad that's in their late 20's or early 30's is actually good for the team.

FDJ was different.. one of if not best player in team.
Selling him would do nothing but make team worse.
Raphinha unless team changes way plays is a back up who doesnt fit the team structure despite some ok stats.

Don't see anyone paying 80m but hopefully we can at least get back close to what we've paid for him last year. He's a good player but just not a fit for this team.
But let's assume for a moment he stays, could we use him in that 4th midfielder role if Messi won't return (I don't think he will)?
