Am drinking beer in the city center and have a good view to the pedestrian zone. First I see a middle aged guy with a Lamine Yamal Barca shirt. Then a kid. Then another kid, this time with the Spanish kit shirt of LY. I am thousands of km away from Barcelona, but seeing so many people, especially kids, wearing Barca kits, warms my heart.

Yamal is the most seen kit here in Croatia. They even have his key rings.

I was at the barber a couple days ago getting a fresh cut, and next to me a kid also wanted a haircut. He pulled out his phone and showed the barber a pic , of course it was Lamine Yamal. The barber joked and asked him if he could play as good as Yamal too

Yep, and importantly he also further clarifies that infeed he saw the potential for Yamal to mark an era at Barça like Leo...coming from Xavi? That's probably the highest praise any player other than Messi can extend to another footballer

It's so much more obvious now of course but that magic was something evident from much younger and while many of the kids at the club can show these extraordinary moments stringing them together like he has and when jumping age categories only like Messi has? Exactly as I said.. the player has the final say if cant play at times and doctors/physios rely on them heavily to give green light.

Needs to learn from it.

He needs to remember who pays his salary and its not a holiday to enjoy with Nico while smashing teams. There is a bigger picture.
