No one is Messi and Yamal is on a different level to likes of Lewa if deciding who it is best to build team around.

Yamal had 43 goals/assists last season while not on pens.

This season he has 14 goals/assists in 12 games.

Dont worry about Yamals 'production'.

He is the player that every single team in world would take right now to build around for next decade.

Haaland mostly plays on the shoulder of the last defender and gets in behind. The Haaland and Yamal combination can work but Haaland won't be making the decoy runs people are talking about. It'll work but not in the manner they are describing. Yamal will be Haaland's new KDB. Kinda similar to Messi and Mbappe's chemistry in PSG.

The poster above makes a very good point actually. Ferran is the guy to do that. If you want a guy with intelligent movement who can be a foil for Yamal, Ferran is your guy.

Harry Kane and Yamal both prefer the ball to feet and Kane loves to drop deep so there might be some sort of tactical misfit there but Kane is still the most gettable option for you financially.

I'm not convinced that Alvarez can lead the line as Barca's CF under Flick. I think he lacks some attributes required to be a Flick striker. Might work under another coach but I don't think he's the answer for a Flick system tactically. Great player though.

The team shouldn't be built around anyone. Pass the ball to the better placed player. The moment you slow the game down to give ball to feet to someone particular... you lose speed of play and teams know how to defend against you.

Alvarez would cost about 180 million. It is not possible. But he is the best striker, for me better than haaland.
Kane is the only option financially but i don’t think he wants to change his living destination another time outside of england.

Haaland would be infinitely better at CF than Alvarez for Barca but impossible.

Alvarez has never been in his career that penalty box striker and struggles at Atletico a fair bit when asked to do it as a lone CF.

Alvarez best position for Barca would be LW in role Raphinha plays or even AM in way Fermin plays it.

This "decoy" fixation is a niche thing not worth focusing on. Any striker is expected to perform decoy runs based on the situation, Haaland included, and he does that too.
