Would be the dream if he could be convinced by Saudi, and they in turn by him of course lol. At least to get some sort of cash. Sport mentioned Al-Hilal but I doubt it's realistic unfortunately.

Tough to say what will happen to him. His ego and delusion could hinder his departure but at the same time, is he going to be able to handle being on the bench as first captain?

We've had our best season in many many years without our main GK. It's time for him to realize it's best to part ways. If he is to be a starter for Germany he needs to play and I hope Flick is blunt with him when Garcia signs.

I don't care if he stays or goes that much tbh. All I want is for us to have the option to field a better keeper. Then the rest will flow naturally and the weaker ones will feel they need to leave.

If Stegen somehow accesses an unseen level in 10 years here, and he has the skills to turn into a beast like this season's Donnarumma, I'd be the first to ask that he stays. First I need to see it though.

If he stays then it's because he cares more about the money he's earning than playing football. I'm pretty sure there is some club there that would take and give him minutes and MATS already knows at this point that he isn't the 1st choice anymore so if he decides to stay until his contract run out i won't be surprised.

If you watch the training videos of Stegs and Joan Garcia, one thing that is super obvious is the difference in speed and intensity.

Even if Stegs stays, be good for all parties if we get a young high potential goalkeeper in the mix.
