In today's routine meeting of the Barcelona board, many members requested the immediate dismissal of Koeman. @sport

Sacking Koeman will cost the club €12M in compensation. Several board members want the Dutch coach to be sacked, and several others want to wait and see if the team improves. @onzetv3

Absolutely wild how Bartomeu sold the Koeman contract back then. Talked big about how the next president will have free choice :S

There was talk about Koeman paying the termination with the Dutch federation? Maybe a compensation for that? With the usual Barto special of increasing payments later (when they are not his problem anymore).

It will include all the deferred payments from last season as well.

They wont sack him and pay him 12m as dont have it. Surely they would put him on gardening leave until end of season.

No point in paying the 12m now as we don't have a chance of winning any trophies this season anyways and we have to save every penny. Get to top 4 this season and part ways with Koeman at the end of the season.

Would sum up the shambles of leadership so far.

Undermine Koeman then keep him as cant get anyone else, sign shite like LDJ because Koeman liked and has worked with him in past, four games in looking to sack Koeman due to game that shite like LDJ was exposed in and three other poor performances.

They have no idea what to do and are running the club day to day.

I'm not even sure what the point of presidential candidates having to guarantee ability to cover 15% of revenue in event of financial malfeasance when Bartomeu has far exceeded those numbers and nothing yet has been done to hold him accountable

Laporta and Yuste do not trust Koeman. However, Alemany and Ramon Planes believe that the Dutch coach is their best option considering the current economical situation.

Not with a caretaker manager imo. Only sack him if Xavi comes in. Kiss the hopes of hiring Pep, Klopp, Tuchel class goodbye. Pipe dream if I ever saw one.

It's Koeman gone in the summer most likely and then we have road A, and road B realistically. Road A is another appointment of some dude with experience but a modest vision (check Koeman, check Valverde). Road B is an unproven manager but one that shows the promise of everything a top manager brings.

It's road B. Road C, which is the ideal naming of a world-class manager is off the table for us. Nobody leaves a better team to join Barca at this point. And class managers don't float around unemployed.

Laporta would be an idiot to sack Koeman now, after not doing that exact thing in the summer where he could have given a new managerial option time to develop his ideas with the team.

Let's not forget either that we expedited the Aguero signing while stalled on the completion of Depay who was a bigger necessity. So this has not been a one way ideal of incompetence purely on the managers side despite the current board deflection.

Well if we did sack Koeman, we could atleast rely on Pimienta for this seaso... oh wait.
