Montpellier share the first place now.....who would have guessed that?

    Very nice article indeed.

Which of these should Pep sell off in Summer?

As a CB backup....David Luiz perhaps? He's quick and strong, and he's technically decent. Still, I'm not convinced we need another CB. We've got Piqué, Puyol and Milito already, and we don't need 4 excellent center backs if we'd buy another right back. Perhaps Henrique, Botía or some other youth...

Which of these should Pep sell off in Summer?

Arteta, indeed, might be a great signing. Azpilicueta might be too, and we need another striker if Keirrison's not good enough. We should offload Marquez, and loan Chyg to some Spanish club, if possible. Some young defender (Botía?) could replace Chyg, then. I expect Tiago Alcantara and/or...

    Rafael Márquez

Spot on. We should offload him asap.

Yeah, especially with Real only losing points when it's most embarrassing.

    Sergio Busquets

Exactly. Imo, Busquets is a sleeper at times. He's more prone to make mistakes. Yaya's more solid. Also, the Yaya- Xavi - Iniesta midfield worked wonders last year, so why wouldn't we keep playing with those three?

    Sergio Busquets

Yaya - Xavi - Iniesta is still the best possible midfield imo. Touré's just an animal: he's better at protecting the back four than Busquets and his offensive skills aren't bad either.

    Champions league 09-10

I have no clue who will make the final out of the 'other side' teams. It hard to predict this time, because I don't know how good Lyon and Bordeaux are exactly. My predictions for the semis are: Man Utd vs Lyon Inter vs Barça

    Good news, regarding Xavi's absence.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Are Real still chasing Ribéry, by the way? He could be useful, especially if they'd sell Kaká, so that you'd have a Cristiano Ronaldo- Gutí/ Van der Vaart - Ribéry trident behind Higuaín. That would be hard to handle, I suppose.

Who do you want in the Quarter Final?

CSKA and Bayern would be the best draws, and I'd fancy Bordeaux too. I don't think they'll be able to handle our midfield. I'm a bit afraid of Gourcuff's free kicks, though.
  13. Jesse1509

    Dmytro Chygrynskiy

I don't think that's possible, as he's number 21. All players with a number under 25 aren't allowed to play in Barça Athletic.

    Champions league 09-10

I hope we draw CSKA. They are the weakest team left. Bayern and Bordeaux wouldn't be bad to draw either.

    Yaya Toure

He reminded me of a tank a lot of times today. He just runs through the midfield with ease.

Two surprises tonight.....such a shame I couldn't see anything of it, except for Palop's rare mistake. Lol about Chelsea.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

I just can't see Torres joing Real. That would be some betrayal to his favourite club! I believe he once stated he'd never sign with Real, too.

    Côte d'Ivoire

Today, Hiddink said he'll not coach Ivory Coast on the WC, because Turkey will play a match in May, at the same time as Ivory Coast. If he wanted to sign with IC too, his contract would run from May to July or so. Therefore, he had to reject IC.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

They should have never bought Kaká. Robben was a better winger, that's for sure, and VDV and Gutí are better playmakers. There was no need for Kaká at all. He's not even a dominant player, a leader on the pitch. This match, he again showed he's hardly ever decisive in important matches.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Seriously? Having such an arrogant twat as a manager won't be good for the club's image, that's for sure. Aside from that, I don't think the coach is the problem. Real consists mostly of individuals, not of team players. I don't think Mourinho would be able to change that.
