I don't know if he's disciplined enough to play as a winger for us...he tends to drop deep, to try and collect the ball, but that's not the best thing to do as a winger, in our formation at least. As a midfielder this would be no problem. So he has to adapt his style a bit, or he shouldn't be...

In the games before this one Afellay was far better than Bojan, so I think you're acting like a hypocrite now...It made perfect sense to play Afellay. Yeah, Bojan was better in this game, but it's easy to judge decisions in hindsight...

Funny thing is, though, that he wasn't even in FC Twente's starting eleven in the season they became champions. That's only last season, and now he's arguably one of the best defensive midfielders in the PL... He just wasn't suited for the Dutch style of play, as he's not as technically gifted...

He even did a world tour with some street football team...Davids is awesome!
