I got shitted on for saying Inigo would be a huge loss coming into this season. It seemed like he kept Cubarsi in line last season much like Puyol with Pique. I never understood why we didn't get defence reinforcements (CB and backup LB).
I am sorry, but there is no fkn excuse for our players to not be as fit as theirs when they played the CWC and we didn't. There are no excuses for all 10 players on the pitch to not press. This was getting close to EV levels of Barca in the 2nd half. If you don't work hard, you will lose. If...
They have a very deep squad which can make a massive difference in the later stages of the season. The ATM loss is a one off, Xabi Alonso is a quick learner.
A far cry from the current American tennis landscape. Insane to think even Roddick was far more talented than all the current Americans. Personally think Roddick is very underrated and could've had more majors if he didn't get run over by the Fed train.
Is there some predetermined amount that Man Utd agreed on for his sale? I have never heard of it. Surely they would want somewhere in the 60-80 mill range if he has a good season
been a decade (!!!) since we've seen solid performances in CL matches from a Barca keeper. MATS first season where he was hungry and determined to be #1 vs Bravo was the best MATS.
His value is that he provides a type of play that to be quite fair, La Masia rarely produces. No BS, always gives 100, not afraid of any duels or any player. This type of profile alone makes him nearly priceless for this Barca.
Have a feeling Alcaraz might surpass one, or all of the big 3. He is only 22 with 6 majors already. If he keeps up his fitness and no major injuries, he is clearly on course to surpass 24 majors.
Can also see Sinner getting close to 20 titles
