    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Reports say 3 weeks, but I doubt it's that long. Somewhere in between makes sense, like a week and a half or two.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Xavi, Iniesta, and Villa are great and truly amazing players, but they don't really have what it takes to make up for this fragile of a defense. Messi has been covering all of that up and more for most of the season now and now with his temporary absence, there is a LOT of changes to be made in...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Villa? :p My preference would be Tello-Villa-Deulofeu but it'll take a miracle for the management to consider that

Which CB would you sign for Barça?

Marquinhos if they really push for it, Inigo Martinez if they are smart enough to see the value, Amorebieta if they really are just going last minute and urgent on a signing.

    Gerard Deulofeu

I've posted this in the Messi thread as well, but it's an important thing to heed. As long as Messi is out, we need to prioritize the goalscorers over everyone else in attack. That means that even Deulofeu should be considered over Alexis or Pedro. We don't have Messi to conceal their scoring...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Really bummed about the injury but I don't think that it's for longer than a week or two. Leo heals quickly and has a very good physical regimen. The next leg will be difficult as hell with all these injuries though. However we need to start relying on youth more. Without Messi as a goalscorer...

    Neymar - v2

He's not flopping but on the other hand he's not really doing great (apart from the CL games at the beginning of the season). There are different ways to look at the Oscar situation and I'd say he's not as on fire as he was before, but not exactly a flop either.

    Thierry Henry

Hmm, this guy looks like the next Cristian Tello!

    World XI

He's cocky as hell and I hate him, but the guy can be a pretty good shot stopper. Also, there aren't many goalkeepers in the world that come to mind who are consistently the best in the world (Caballero would've been up there for me, but he's only shown it this season). Buffon is still first for...

    Neymar - v2

Lucas and Oscar don't use flappy samba-boy tricks like Neymar. His style works for him in Brazil but it has an UNBELIEVABLE amount of flaws to it that will all be shown in Europe. He doesn't have any strength, balance, low center of gravity, nor does he shield the ball well. All of those are...

    Athletic Club

This game was defensively solid for Athletic, shame about the red card for Susaeta though. I laughed during that last minute goal scored by Ander that got disallowed. Poor Tono was just kicking out the extra ball  Good thing that it was disallowed though.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

That was the most overused joke in the world last season except with RVP and Arsenal

    7 - Philippe Coutinho - V1

Moura's pretty damn deadly on counterattacks and uses his speed well. He's a quick thinker in those situations.

Which CB would you sign for Barça?

90% of people who would want Hummels haven't even seen Martinez or anyone else play. Big name and big price tag doesn't mean big talent. I'm surprised that some of you don't know this. Torres cost Chelsea 50 million Euros yet Michu cost Swansea a mere 2 million. Which of the two has been better...

Which CB would you sign for Barça?

Since when does cheap mean bad? And since when does expensive necessarily mean good? If you want to read the rest of what I wrote, "quality" also seems to be a word that I used. Just because none of the defenders I mentioned are media-hyped and well known to people who don't pay attention to...

    World XI

------Buffon Lahm-Chiellini-Silva-Alba ---Pirlo-Busquets Ronaldo-Mata-Iniesta -------Messi Subs: Neuer, Dante, Xavi, Ribery, Suarez, Baines, Schweinsteiger/Vidal

    Jordi Alba

Freaking love this guy. Unbelievably efficient and great on the ball and his attacking runs are better than most forwards, yet he is a left back. And that linkup with the Don :worthy:

    Van Bommel

I love how there is conveniently no footage of him mauling players in there.

    Cristian Tello

The similarity in those far post finishes is uncanny though. However, I gotta say Henry has more elegance in it.
