    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Theres no way we should risk the injury further. The rest of the team needs to be 100% focused and give it their all without Messi. It'll be a bit easier to hold or even increase the advantage we have at the Camp Nou, even without Messi. As of now I don't even think he should be on the bench...

    Francesc "Tito" Vilanova

Vilanova (to the squad): "I won't allow one minute of relaxation, I want 100% focus, no parties, no jokes, Wednesday is a key game." [sport] And there were people who said he wasn't as strict and vocal with the squad as Pep was. Unbelievably glad to have him back

    Cristian Tello

One dimensional in a sense that he doesn't have a huge arsenal of technique or skill behind him. He is only good in 1v1's and usually just taps the ball ahead or cuts in. He relies on his speed too much in dribbling and doesn't have much close control or a good first tough so you can't say that...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Last I heard he's in physiotherapy and started training on the pitch.

    Cesc Fàbregas

If Messi isn't back, I am less scared about Cesc playing as a false 9 after his performance today. All in all, even if either of them don't start, it's good that we have 2 really useful substitute options who have the momentum of form on their side.

    Marc Bartra

His positioning is good naturally but it's just getting more confidence in 1v1's that he lacks. Although he's getting better and better at it with each game.

    Martin Montoya

The management is training Montoya to be the utility man. While it's not his natural position, it's great to see that they are playing him on the left as well to give him that experience. He'd be even more useful in defense if he could play across the entire back line. He may not be that happy...

    Gerard Deulofeu

He isn't much like Cristiano anymore, but he does tend to try a little too hard. However he's trying to make an impression, and that shows his ambition. People look at him like they would to Messi, or Cristiano, or anyother "gamechanger" type of player. They expect something extraordinary to...

    Martin Montoya

He was dispossessed too many times today but was solid overall I'd say. I too have wondered how he would fair at CB because he has the composure to be a great one.

    Marc Bartra

Very solid tonight, shows that he's getting better with more playing time. We need to buy a CB but I don't think we need 2 because Bartra has what it takes to be a very reliable player.

    Eric Abidal

Great day for everyone today. All the fans were so happy to see him. His battle is officially won. What a warrior to defeat cancer twice and still handle the rigors of professional sports.

    Thiago Translantara

Very very composed today. Had great movement as well, saw him all over the pitch.

    Raphael Varane

It's amazing (and annoying if your team plays against him) that he steps up even MORE during the big games and pulls out unbelievably amazing performances as a CB. His defensive displays against Barca have been downright amazing, let alone the 2 goals he's scored. So far, he hasn't had one bad game.

    Mario Gotze

    that's hilarious
