    Neymar - v2

 Neymar's passing may be better than Deulo's but if you compare them by age, Deulofeu is a FAR better passer at his age than Neymar was at 19. As for Tello, he fits in really well at tiki taka and links up with ease, he just doesn't go for the beautiful through balls or majestic passes...

    Alexis Sanchez

Looks so composed and confident, what happened to that?

    Marc Bartra

He's somewhat shaky and hesitant at times so he commits errors, but he isn't as bad as some of you are saying. He isn't great either, but he isn't to blame at all. I'm certain he'll play better once he gets settled with more playing time.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

No one should be complaining about Martinez as a transfer option. Obviously he isn't currently at Hummels' level, given the fact that he is 3 years younger. Although he's been really, REALLY great for Sociedad and while he isn't carrying them, he remains one of their best performers overall...

    Gerard Deulofeu

He hasn't been bad with the first team. He had 2 goals in 2 appearances in pre-season and was very lively in the game vs Cordoba (several displays of skill, that long ranged shot that was very close to going in, and that mazy dribble past 5 players that just barely failed to produce an assist as...

    Thiago Silva

Hmm, you got me there, I overlooked that. Head to head, I'd definitely say Varane has been better than Vidic in the playing time they've had. Although now that I think about it, Demichelis has been more solid than both of them overall. So I'd switch out Vidic for Varane/Demichelis

    Goal-line Technology. For or Against?

Human error is part of the game but when it's committed by a match official I think not, as it actually interferes with the match and the delivery of a fair result. Besides, if the error is there, shouldn't we fix that error if possible?

    Thiago Silva

    Dante?

    Sergio Busquets

He's unbelievably consistent and rarely underperforms. I think handling Ibra threw him off a bit today but there's not much to worry about.

    Daniel Alves

His crosses are hit and miss and while we don't have a tall forward, there are a lot of times when the forward (Messi/Villa) latches onto it and finishes with a header or volley. He's also got pretty good vision and can play good through balls or lobbed passes. Plus he is an adept dribbler...

    Daniel Alves

Yea this is pretty much the best idea I can think of to utilize his strengths in attack without having such a fragile defense

    Daniel Alves

Well I'll admit I was quite wrong about him before. He still isn't a great defender but I can no longer doubt his quality and work ethic at least. Well done today

    Brilliant

    Neymar - v2

    Great post, completely valid points.

    Marc Bartra

There's no point in comparing him to Varane. Varane performed even more admirably than usual when thrown in with the sharks in the Clasico. He's something different, a class of defender that the world hasn't seen in a while. I hope Bartra steps up but Pique is almost useless these days and...

    Champions League 12/13

-Juve's attack was completely isolated today, but I agree with Josh in saying that they have a chance if they go completely all out and Bayern happen to have a bad day. -I do expect Bayern to win this tie though and right now the favorites for the CL are Bayern and Real Madrid (sadly). -That...

    Gerard Deulofeu

I don't expect Deulofeu to be great, but this is an emergency and he's showed that he can score, unlike say Alexis or Pedro.

    Gerard Deulofeu

I know he won't, I'm just stating what would be the wise choice. I mean it's pretty clear that an Alexis-Villa-Pedro front line would have no chance of making up for our defense. If we keep conceding like this while messi is out, our only real chance would be to play the deadlier goalscorers on...

    Cesc Fàbregas

Cesc did nothing bad today, there should be no warranted hate against him for this. Of course he wasn't Messi, but who is? The result was from a combination of shit luck (Masch injury, Messi injury, Ibra offside goal) and a lack of nerve and true focus in defense.
