Might as well give him it now. Messi will out perform him all year if fit, but apparently if Penaldo lifts more big trophies it doesn't matter. He's got the Confederations too to stat pad his way through and Portugal to fluke (New Zealand etc).- Ritchie

It is but they roll over for Real. That 9-0 was possibly the most embarrassing professional performance i've ever watched. That Asian team put the La Liga deadbeats to shame. They at least gave Real a hard game. -

Key with Zidane is he's learned from the mistakes of Perez in his playing days there. He told him not to sell Makelele and saw the effect it had so he knows how to be more balanced. He needs a lot of chances and shots. Look at the amount of chances he missed at the Euros. Put Cavani up front for Real Madrid 90 minutes every game, make him the focal point of every attack and give him every penalty and he'd score 50 a season there as well.- Ritchie
