    He'd be good for assists and to get the ball to MSN and preferable to crap like Turan and Gomes and on this season Rakitic. He's another Cesc though. Slow as fuck and goes missing. The fact he's slow, goes missing and does nothing off the ball means he's the ideal Barca midfielder these days...

    Said it before, he's exactly what we need. Teams wouldn't be walking through us all game. He's a better Makelele. Win the ball constantly, pass it to MSN or Iniesta.

    Real would have hammered Celta with the Copa game coming up so that's good that it's off. Real get two weeks off though which gets them well rested for the business end of the season, just like last season. Barca use up a lot of energy in Jan and Feb with the Copa Del Ray.

    He shouldn't have to stabilise the midfield, create from midfield, we should have midfielders that do that. Not to mention the fact we can't rely on Suarez and Nemar to carry the attack if Messi is deeper.

    I can't believe his contract runs out next year when they've just renewed half the squad last year. What are the board even thinking? It'd be one thing if Messi was stalling but has he even had an offer? This squad isn't worth shit without Messi and he could leave for nothing next summer.
