    Gerard Deulofeu

'Given a chance?' was he? I must have missed that. It's much easier to impress with Messi and Iniesta alongside you, rather than Sandro and Sergi Roberto.

    Gerard Deulofeu

Had he been given the chances Munir has (and he's been brilliant, nothing against him) I'm certain he'd have played his way into the team. He came back from Everton basically being told he'd be in the first team squad, doesn't play in pre-season and then gets put out on loan again without...

    Gerard Deulofeu

Still think the loan was a bad decision. He's clearly a confidence player and he's been told he isn't wanted without being given a chance. Great management.

    Gerard Deulofeu

LE's first poor decision. Give the kid a chance surrounded by real quality, especially since our options are limited with Alexis, Tello and Affelay gone, Suarez banned and Pedro just....Pedro. This was his opportunity to show what he could do. Shame.

    Rafinha Alcantara

That's like the guy who said Samper has a 'higher ceiling' than Busquets. I like Samper, as I like Rafinha, it's just far too early to make those kind of assertions.

    Pre-season friendlies 14/15

Am I missing something or didn't it say Mathieu hadn't travelled?

    Pre-season friendlies 14/15

Poor first half, much better second. Xavi absolutely immense, Samper very composed. Flashes from Deulofeu and Halilovic, though ultimately frustrating. Thought Grimaldo was very good when he came on, the defence as a whole were ok with the exception of Pique who was error prone and gave away...

    Pre-season friendlies 14/15

Would have liked to see Deulofeu and Halilovic but I imagine they'll be on for the second half.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

They'll need him more than ever tonight. Fun fact: Brazil and Argentina have never made it to the semi-final in the same tournament in the history of the world cup.

Walks. Isn't what he was. Oh and Happy Birthday Leo, just finished celebrating mine!

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Scored one, ran through on the counter and could have had a second against a team that put bodies behind the ball (which they're more than entitled to do). Hasn't been at his best, neither have any of the argentine forwards but he's the only reason they have 6 points on the board. When...

Group B: Spain, Netherlands, Chile, Australia

As a Villa fan, can't help but say Ron Vlaar was absolutely immense. Spain should have taken the cue from Barca. It isn't easy to change a winning team obviously, but so much success can make a team complacent. You need the hunger as well as the talent.

Group A: Brazil, Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon

Call a spade a spade? Ok. I think there was something going on with the referee. I think the integrity of the competition has been brought into question. Not only the big decisions, it was possibly the worst officiating I've seen in years and I have no affiliation to Croatia or animosity to...

    Argentina

Embarrassed for them. What was it they're hoping to achieve by displaying a banner about that in a friendly game of football. Comes off as a bit childish.

    Argentina

What's up with Higuain? Not involved in either friendly?

    Marco Reus

A shame for the kid, at least he'll be fit for the start of next season though. That and it weakens Germany considerably. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Martino leaves Barca after one season

I fear anyone thinking all our problems will be solved with Enrique will be due a wake up call. The problems run deeper than just the manager. Good luck Tata, another time, another team, who knows. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of him.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Agree. Good ball player but nowhere near commanding enough.
