    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Not only that, I think once the first goal goes in, the pressure will lift a bit and his confidence will come back.

    Pedro Rodriguez

The kid infuriates me at times and so far this season he's done nothing to convince me he deserved to stay and Deulofeu didn't deserve a chance. Credit where its due though, played well when he came on today.

Might go to the Croatia game, can't find the official kick off times and when the tickets go on general sale though.

Lliga: Real Madrid - FC Barcelona 3-1

Perspective... We're still top, we were away from home against the European champions in form, a whisker from being 2-0 up and effectively game over. I don't see any reason to panic. Give the front three a few games to get used to each other, put Alba back in, never play Piqué unless it is...

    Sergio Agüero

Great player until his hamstring goes again.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Ronaldo is now the ultimate goalscorer, and kudos to him. Chances are, people will praise him because of it. Anyone whose opinion matters will know that there is more to football than that. However, let them decide.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

I like Vela, he's a fantastic player, why Arsenal let him go is beyond me. However, above Messi? really? Ok.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Will never forget that goal against Chelsea with the outside of the boot from the edge of the area. It wasn't on, there isn't another player in the world that would have gone for it. It's such a shame how his career tailed off so quickly. He could have been one of the greatest of all time.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Where were they when needed (Masch excepted).

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

I don't think we'll every see anything like that again in our lifetimes. As for the Ballon D'or, I'd be tempted to look beyond both of them. I think Manuel Neuer, for what he did for Germany and Bayern over the last year or so. If a goalkeeper ever deserved it, it's probably him. Not a...

    Lliga: Malaga - Barcelona 0-0

I'm struggling to think of a single player that gets any credit for that performance. Bravo - that is literally it. I've really come to the end of my tether with Pedro though. The kid is clearly lacking any sort of confidence and doesn't merit a place in the current squad, let alone starting...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

I'm not sure where he's most effective. If he plays further up the pitch then he doesn't get on the ball and influence the game, while if he drops deeper then he isn't going to score the goals that we need as nobody else scores consistently enough. I'm glad it isn't my job to choose.

    Jeremy Mathieu

Thought he was ok yesterday. He got caught at 0-0 and threw himself into a challenge which left us exposed. Maybe I'm being overly critical, he has been excellent for us overall so far.

    Sergi Samper

In his first Champions League start. Such a mature performance from someone so young.
  15. B

    Sergi Roberto

I have to say with Rafinha, Iniesta, Xavi, Samper, Busquets, Rakitic and potentially Mascherano to cover three midfield positions, I really can't see why we need to play him. I had high hopes for him a couple of seasons ago, he just doesn't seem to have developed at all.

Champions League: FC Barcelona - APOEL Nicosia 1-0

Sensible performance. Thought Samper was excellent again, as was Sandro when he came on, adding a bit more purpose to the attack. I do think the senior players were a bit of a let down tonight, so you have to be reasonably happy with the result. The ends justify the means with games coming...

    England

Well, a balanced view on England? Those are hard to come by. Thought we played alright tonight, clearly the better side and deserved the points. I thought Delph was excellent (after a somewhat excitable start), especially taking into account it was his first international start. It's...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

He sure as hell isn't going to admit it, is he? Looked fine to me coming off the pitch, potentially a minor knock. It is the sort of game he would have played in years gone by, I think if he's going to keep up this new intensity he's shown so far this season, then sitting out of some of these...

    Gerard Deulofeu

That wasn't the impression I got, but we'll agree to disagree. The positive is obviously that Munir has looked like he's played first team football for years. Long may that continue.
  20. B

    Gerard Deulofeu

There was definitely a difference in minutes, Deulo either came on with 20 mins to go or not at all, whereas Munir played at least 45mins. On top of that, he was brought on once the majority of Barca B were on the pitch. People seem to be taking this as a dig at Munir. Once again, I think...
