At this point his options in Europe would be 70-80% playing time at Milan or 40-50% at Barca. More or less same salary. Can't see the point of starting a new challenge in a new country. What would he have to gain at Milan? Trying to win as scudetto? Better join a club purely for money then...

    6 - Gavi

Might take months before he's ready to compete for real even if deemed fit. Especially since he wasn't really 100% before the recent injury.

Of course, I would bet Perez was clear on this. I doubt Arbeloa is entering with fresh ideas ready to revolutionize. Not that I think he is capable of it based on how he was as a footballer.

    2 - João Cancelo

Passed medical tests and will sign tomorrow.

Nothing to worry about, these guys will be first to hug at next gathering.

Arbeloa replacing Alonso who got sacked. If somebody told me that 10-15 years ago I'd laugh. The only option for Arbeloa is to cater to the players. I think the players will have full power now. His job will be to keep them happy and not challenge them.

    Jude Bellingham

Once again has to be said. And nobody dares criticize him. Then he will score a goal and hype will be back. Some players just have it too easy.

Best case we follow the salary structure strictly, which means he gets what he will provide. He won't be undisputed starter so he shouldn't be paid as one. At most make it bonus heavy. It's a little romanticized as it doesn't work like that but if he likes the city, the club and doesn't want to...

Reading comprehension not your biggest strength. We were talking about a few similarities and circumstances that apply to both. Everyone very well know the differences between ADM and Raphinha. Bad attempt to act like a wannabe football professor.

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Future might seem bright but we have a coach and a lot of players that are ready to win a CL today, albeit not a full XI. It could be enough, or not. We will see.

    Copa 1/8 Final: Santander - Barca 0-2

Kounde, Araujo, Eric, Martin Casado/Bernal, Frenkie/Pedri Roony, Olmo, Rashy Ferran Not a bad XI despite many rotations. Frenkie and Pedri can switch with each other at HT if game still tight, Kounde with Cancelo. Playing CB is not that tiring in these games.

Vini did well when he could move central. Best option for Ancelotti would be if he can fit in Raphinha at LW/LM somehow without having to bench Vini. Most likely is Raphinha at CAM though, but his strengths don't show as well as when he's to the left.

Arabia Cup Final: Barca - Madrid 3-2 SUPERCOPA CHAMPIONS!

Not necessarily the trophy in itself but beating RM in a final adds to it, especially when it's in a tight and heated game.

There are a few similarities with ADM tbf. Mainly clutchness, left foot and hard work.

    Hans-Dieter Flick

If we don't manage to win CL it will be looked back at as a team that was always missing a piece. We plug a hole every year but another one opens up. Even if we manage to sign a CB in the summer it's not a given the attack will keep cooking at this level. Worst case we need to splash big on...

Barking up the wrong tree. At most Jammy will argue that he isn't just for the sake of arguing.
