    People complaining should present another option to sign now. I also want a CB but there aren't any available. Even likes of Senesi with contract out in 6 months would cost 4-5x (fee+salary) what we pay Cancelo. Cancelo will do fine as a backup.

    A manager has more power outside the pitch. A coach just works with his players and staff, often with players somebody else decided to sign. At United I don't think there's been a manager since Sir Alex. Strict hierarchy which is most likely why the change of coach has little effect.

    Cancelo might not even play the toughest games. In Liga he will suffice even if teams target that flank. Not like he is non-existent in defence. Would be naive to think Cancelo and Yamal will be staying next to the opposition LB if it's RM, Bayern or the likes on the other side.
