    Crouch or Klose

Imagine a scenario where management have shortlisted two strikers that Barca want, and they will definitely sign ONE. Peter Crouch (Eng) or Miroslav Klose (Ger) You can only choose one! Who will it be?

:question:Have we ever even been linked to him? And what's his valuation? I've made thoughts clear on Fernando "The White Heskey" Torres in the Torres thread already.:facepalm1:

That's interesting because I have considered him for that role also. A left-footed Striker that can play CF & RW.:snap: He's young, a fellow Argentinian like Messi, and very skilful. The problem is, I don't really know how good he is and if he would be able to step up.

    Fernando Torres

If mgmt. really do sanction the signing of Torres, then they really are CLUELESS.:shakeshead: I understand that his weekly wage alone, is in excess of 170k. He would obviously take a pay cut, but he'd still be on huge money to sit on the bench.:facepalm1: There are far better and cheaper...

    Cesc Fàbregas

Do you really mean to tell us that you believe Cesc has had a greater influence than Iniesta over the last two seasons? And on the whoscored ratings, I have previously stated that they are calculated using a mathematical approach and do not take into account the players overall...

What's "silly" about my post? And since when was Crouch proven at elite level? Don't know if you seriously think he is better than Klose? If so: :eusa_think: Do you mean the time he scored against Trinidad & Tobago, and in doing so had to cheat by pulling his opponents dreadlocks in...

Confederations Cup 2013 - Final: Brazil 3-0 Spain

Brazil have only won 1 game in their last eight matches haven't they? Although some of you have rubbished the tournament, this is an important test for them and particularly Scolari. Question for anyone, or Brazil fans especially: If Brazil fail badly in this tournament, do you think Scolari...

 They are different types of Forwards though. So Klose will provide an alternative to our attack that Villa didn't. Plus we all know that Villa's time at Barca is finished, so there would be no point keeping him.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

For me, Klose ticks all the boxes for short-term option we need to add variety to our attack. 1. Proven at Elite level. 2. Good age. 35. (turns 36 in June). 3. He's tall (6ft). Good in the air. Giving us the option to cross high balls into the box. (If we can't play through, or around...

    Jonathan Dos Santos

As long as he's not on Bogarde's wages. ... His attitude has become representative of many young footballers nowadays. More interested in fame and fortune, than their love of the game. :(

    Asier Illarramendi

Would like him at Barca, if we didn't already have Busquets, Mascherano, Song etc. Magnificent player, and much more than a DM. Unlike most other DM's he can dribble and looks to play forward, start attacks, and not just pass sideways and backwards.

    UEFA European U21 Championship

Spain U21 vs Germany U21 Montoya played well, and made that vital tackle when Germany had him 2 against 1 on the counter. The MoTM for me was Illarramendi (couldn't find a thread for him). Is there one? He is so much more than a DM. Fantastic talent. :tiphat:

    Iñigo Martínez

Watch his performances again. - See the number of times he gets caught out of position. - His lazy attempts to stop a cross. - His lacklustre chasing back, when we got countered. - The vast number of times his crosses never found their mark. - The number of times he made reckless and...
