    disagree. he was a massive part of the instability, because he was quite clearly unfit and Abidal was constantly having to go across and help him out, and this destabilised the entire back-line. Madrid's first goal came from a move down his side of the pitch.

    er, Fontás is a quality CB. not top quality, sure, but he's a good player. and considering Bilal was our best CB last season, I'm fine with him being 3rd choice. I think we would have signed a CB were it not for the abundance of La Masia CB's and the versatility of Bilal and Badger.

    while the ref did go incredibly easy on you guys (especially Khedira and Xabi) we were well below par and very lucky to come away with a 2-2 result. Benzema was fucking magnificent in everything but his finishing.

    he apart from kicking the ball up into his arm, he was better at CB than LB. for the first 30 minutes he was the only player with any composure in our defence and helped play the ball out on numerous occasions. he played well considering he was playing with 3 guys making their bow this season.
