    Real Madrid (old thread)

ref should have sent Khedira and Xabi off. Khedira for trying to kick Bilal's face off, and Xabi for making 567211673 fouls, at least 1468 of which deserved a yellow card. the penalty incidents should have both been given. Madrid got some unlucky calls with fouls not given for them around the...

fucking superhuman, dude, seriously. bouncing off Khedira to change direction for his goal... BOSSMAN.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

this was the first game of pre-season, dude. he did alright, tbh. his distribution was PANTS, though. good lordy lord!

    Gerard Piqué

looked solid when he came on. and now he's got his boy back. COMMENCE BUMMING.

    Daniel Alves

some great defensive work today, but his distribution was pretty sketchy. still, only his second game of pre-season (and his first for us), so he'll do better.

    Thiago Translantara

he was shitting it for the first 30 minutes. but he soon found his feet and started whipping out his Badman moves.

    Seydou Keita

I still love him, though. <3

    Seydou Keita

he was good at the defensive part but his distribution was fucking abysmal. Mascherano, though, did his best to make Keita seem like Xavi.

Seluk and Raiola are proper agents, and they're monumental douchebags. vocal agents of any kind are annoying. I like the #11. it's a wingers number, true, but it's underutilised, especially in Spain. and I love the fact that Thiago could make it his own for club AND country.

    Alexander Hleb

nah I like him too. was really disappointed when he failed to adapt/step-up. he provides some brilliant passes during 08/09.

    Thiago Translantara

he wore it in the Split and Inter games. when he came on against Munich he was wearing #30 for some reason. still, it was back with him for the US tour, but then we sold him, so it made no nevermind. touché.

    Thiago Translantara

    wrong!
  15. Metaphysical

    Thiago Translantara

uh... 1. the club had no #4 going into pre-season, whereas Jeffren was in possession of the #11. Thiago chose #4 because it was free & it seems to be his favoured number. 2. Jeffren left the club midway through the US tour, Thiago had already been allocated #4 for the tour, so continued to wear...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

no dispute that we can't compete with you in terms of marketing and selling the brand, Beast, no dispute at all. we could make more money than we do.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

tbh, Beast, we were lightyears behind you and every other top club not 8 years ago. that we're anywhere near you right now is a testament to how well we're doing. and like I said, most of the difference between your total and ours was that you went to China and made 5m where we went to Germany...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

someone as well-versed in the art of whoring a brand name as you are should know it's not just the matches which generate revenue. :p anyway considering a Chinese club recently made Dario Silva the 2nd highest paid player in the world, it wouldn't surprise me if your extra 6m came from those...
  19. Metaphysical

    Real Madrid (old thread)

why is this a surprise, Beast? we spent less time in the USA and didn't go to China at all. what the fuck is going on here?!
  20. Metaphysical

    Gerard Piqué

so let's say Xavi is out, and then Iniesta picks up a knock, are we really going to wage war with Thiago, Keita and Sergi Roberto as CM's? proposing an injury crisis as the primary reason for signing a player is retarded. we're fine at CB. not perfect, but fine. the crucial signings this...
