I recorded the Argentina match and am making my bf watch it when he gets home from work so he can see why I love Messi :lol: He has never watched a Barca match either so he has no idea.

It did make for the first exciting match in the entire WC... so I'm not complaining about who scored the goals :D My only complaint is toward those who fail to give Messi credit where credit is due, he did fantastically.

yeah I agree, Messi is really one of those players who can play as anything and he does fantastically. THAT is what makes him the greatest in the world, not just the fact that he scores a lot of goals.

Like I said in Higgy's thread, a lot of the goals were just him being in the right place at the right time, Messi did a lot of the work for the team. Only the third goal was really impressive.

Admittedly he didn't do well yesterday, he was quite shit even, I'm not denying that, but how is he going to get back to form if he never gets played? Precisely why he didn't start, since it was obvious he wouldn't be up to form. They're putting him back a little at a time. They didn't do any...

It's so much fail for me too because even if we did the swap, I STILL WOULDN'T BE RID OF IBRA because I'm a Liverpool fan too :cry: He just wouldn't go away!

Well the third goal was more impressive, but the second was more credit to Messi. Higgy kicked it in but it was easy, anyone who had been in that position could have scored there. But still I'm not complaining, goals are goals :)
