    Serie A

He's scored 11 league goals this season (maybe 12 now) playing as a glorified box crasher or striker. It is hardly the stuff of dreams. The standards are just so low these days that a good but not great goalscorer like him is being treated like he's fantastic. Napoli will likely fall away...

Also, Tempt trying to give Mourinho credit for McTominay, when Mourinho is the one who tried to use him as a centre back and defensive midfielder, both positions he's wank in. More fanboyism for his favourite manager.
  3. Maradona37

    Serie A

No. He scores some goals but our team is wank and he's a big part of that. He only in recent years started playing further forward though. used to be a CB in a back three

That goal was right at the keeper though, admittedly very quick but keeper let it go under him.
  5. Maradona37

    Serie A

He scores goals sometimes but it covers that he's on the periphery of most games. Seen lots of games where you don't see him then he crashes the box. He fits in at Napoli who deploy him that way but United tried to use him as a central midfielder which would never ever work.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Great post. Bit harsh on R9 although good point on his lack of longevity (and I am one of the Garrincha 'hipsters' lol), but I wouldn't disagree with much. The stuff about Cristiano Ronaldo is correct. He actually won a lot more after he focused on goalscoring and became a lot more one...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Who is that guy and why is every second post of yours a twitter link to meaningless, know-nothing grifters, whether on an individual or collective level? You post the most irrelevant people and sources and I don't understand why? How do you find all this nonsense that you regurgitate? Do you...

    Serie A

There's a possibility of a play-off between the two for the title. Inter are playing in the CL Final on 31 May and then the Club World Cup. Hence, this has to be played tonight and any potential play-off (which is unlikely, but possible) would be played Monday I think.

    Luka Modrić

Yeah Modric as brilliant as he was wasn't as good as Iniesta for me either. I have made the same point above about domination. Only caveat I add is that Real Madrid are naturally a less possession-dominant club than Barcelona in terms of ethos anyway. But I think you see a decline if Modric...

    Premier League 24/25

That's why when I talk about players being good at amateur or semi pro level I qualify it with infinitely lower level..and when we say a player is rubbish we mean by elite level of the game standards.

    Luka Modrić

Yeah I don't wanna upset windhook but I slightly prefer hagi to hristo too. I loved both as a kid though.

    Club World Cup

Is anyone going to watch this? Other confederations fans are very excited about it, but understandably with Europe being club football's epicentre by a country mile (and we can debate the rights and wrongs of this), the European sides likely see this as an inconvenience. Some might take it...

    Chelsea

Need to win at the City Ground on Sunday to guarantee CL qualification - I think Forest might get something. If it's a draw, Chelsea would need Villa not to win or Newcastle to lose.

    Aston Villa

@fergus90 You're relying on snookers on Sunday mate. Need Fulham to beat City, or Everton to draw with Newcastle, or Forest to get something against Chelsea. You confident? Forest getting something seems by far the most likely avenue. That's taking into account beating United, and as bad as...

    West Ham

Been a very disappointing season for them - Potter has come in and they haven't really made any progress. Never rated Lopetegui, better off just sticking with Moyes. The grass isn't always greener. I hope they will improve next season.

    Harry Kane

I think what we can reasonably say is that Kane, Shearer, Benzema, Suarez and Lewy were all fantastic attackers and some of the best strikers of their generations. And Rasmus Hojlund will never ever be even 10 percent as good as any of them

    Premier League 24/25

In terms of size, United are like a guy with a 7-8 inch cock thinking he can hang (no pun intended) with 11 inch black monsters (Real Madrid, Barcelona). Plus right now that guy has erectile dysfunction.
  18. Maradona37

    Harry Kane

    Benzema?
  19. Maradona37

    Harry Kane

Fair. On the other hand Kane has more technical ability in terms of passing and vision, and I'd argue is a better team player (Shearer had insane physicality, hold-up play and was great in the air though, better shot from range than 'Arry as well). Kane would likely have beaten the goal record...

Martinez? Man I wish Gray was part of the brass at United. He needs to replace Berrada or Wilcox.
