    Cesc Fabregas or Thiago Alcantara

Wait, you mean Barcelona won't be winning two trebles every three years from now until the end of time?

    Cesc Fabregas or Thiago Alcantara

He means eventually Xaviesta will be superseded by Fabriago.

    Alberto Botía

It'd be interesting to see Fontas at Sporting for a while (although I hope he stays). Botia looks a bit more robust and able to play a more limited game whereas Fontas is tailor made for playing at Barcelona.

    Thiago Translantara

Yep, I agree. The flamboyance of Thiago will mean people will perceive him as superior to the Xavi of the same age but really there is very little between the two.

    Cesc Fabregas or Thiago Alcantara

There's no such thing as a "Xavi replacement." As for Thiago vs. Cesc - it's not going to matter, we won't have to choose. At some point or other, we will have both.

    1 - Victor Valdes

Messi's on 4, Piqué's on 9. I'd imagine Piqué will be rested next weekend, Messi will probably play (and should be able to avoid a card).

    Thiago Translantara

He is insanely brilliant on the ball. A little work on the pressing, a little better concentration/cut out the careless passes and he will be a truly exceptional player.

    1 - Victor Valdes

So, so good. I love this team.

The word on his injury is that he is uninjured.

Samuel got a ligament injury and has been out for a few months/is out for the rest of the season.

Mazinho (father of Thiago): "It's clear that a transfer of Cesc could complicate the development of Thiago and Jonathan Dos Santos."

    Jose Mourinho

Every so often I'm reminded that I do quite like José in all honesty  This gif just reminded me:

    Sergi Samper

I presume he did too, doesn't change the fact Barcelona won something in the year 1999 :D 2000-2004 was trophy-less. 1999 and 2005 were quite successful, though.

    Sergi Samper

This argument is very tedious but Barcelona also won the league in 1999.
