The high line's not the problem. The problem is the lack of pressing and the 2 attacking fullbacks. Oh yeah, and the lack of pace (and overall quality) in the center of the defense. Replace Alves with Montoya. Bring back the pressing. Get a quality CB with pace. Problem solved. We played a high...

I'd only sell Sanchez if we're planning on buying another RW. Which I'd be all for, but I'm worried that it could screw Deulofeu over. Maybe get a 28-29 year old as a short-term solution while we wait for Deulofeu?

I just hope he's planning to get us a starting CB and is not planning on relying on Puyol or Masch...

Varane came out of thin air when he was 17, not 24. Not the best example. Good point about Vidic and Silva though. And it was a similar case with Dante.

Maybe he feels we need 2 CBs? This Vergini guy shouldn't be that expensive, so buying him should leave enough money for 1 more CB...

Not sure about getting a 24 year old no-name from South America, but Milan did get Silva from Brazil when he was 25 and we all know how that turned out...
