    Which RW would you buy?

Lamela or Reus. I'd rather not buy anyone and wait for Deulofeu though.

Who would you buy: Ilkay Gundogan or Oliver Torres?

Picked Gundogan, but I'd be fine with either.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

We don't need a defensive LB, we need a defensive RB. Aka Montoya. Pretty much agree about the others, although CB is the only one that's absolutely urgent. And Deulofeu can take that RW spot the season after the next one, so I'm not sure about buying an RW either. The ones who are "whining"...

    Bale's better though.

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

"It would be a failure not to win any titles. Barcelona is used to winning and not doing so would have to be considered a failure because what Barcelona are offering is the best squad in the world”

I'm definitely liking what he's been saying so far :D

    Santiago Vergini

The high line's not the problem. The problem is the lack of pressing and the 2 attacking fullbacks. Oh yeah, and the lack of pace (and overall quality) in the center of the defense. Replace Alves with Montoya. Bring back the pressing. Get a quality CB with pace. Problem solved. We played a high...

    David Luiz

Don't want him. I think him + Pique could turn out very badly. But I suppose he would be better than nothing...

    Thiago Translantara

And a coach who likes him. I think he'll get more playing time under Pep than what he got at Barca last season. Even if he isn't a starter. Simply because Pep clearly values him more and rates him higher than Tito did. :worthy:

    Pedro Rodriguez

Well, him bringing out the best in either of the two is fine by me.

Anyone know if Tata will be coaching for the next friendly?

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

Martino (new coach Barcelona): "High pressure and winning the ball back fast are things we want to bring back to the team." #fcblive Martino (new coach Barcelona): "We want to have the feeling we can count on youth players. Barça has a similar approach as Newell's." Martino (new coach...

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

Yup. Now I just hope he addresses the real problem: the way our wingers are used.

    Alexis Sanchez

I'd only sell Sanchez if we're planning on buying another RW. Which I'd be all for, but I'm worried that it could screw Deulofeu over. Maybe get a 28-29 year old as a short-term solution while we wait for Deulofeu?

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Varane came out of thin air when he was 17, not 24. Not the best example. Good point about Vidic and Silva though. And it was a similar case with Dante.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Maybe he feels we need 2 CBs? This Vergini guy shouldn't be that expensive, so buying him should leave enough money for 1 more CB...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Not sure about getting a 24 year old no-name from South America, but Milan did get Silva from Brazil when he was 25 and we all know how that turned out...
