Torres is awesome when fit and on form, but he's definitely not the best in the world. He has a shout at top 3, but not first or second.

It's never the same as a competitive match though. In training you're relaxed and there isn't any pressure. It's a totally different set up to heat of the moment in a real game. Same as practising penalties in training, it's not the same.

His movement is normally excellent. We know he's a top finisher. Combine those to you have a good striker, but but aspects get rusty when you barely play.

Well even when we've had injuries up front this season he still hasn't been given starts. If he doesn't play when there's no other fit striker you wonder when he will play.

Totally agree, these little 10 minute cameos aren't helping him. They're alright at the start of your career, but seen as he was a starter under Rijkaard for a while (due to injuries but still) to now be used here and there as an end of game substitute isn't helping his development or...

Yeh he's slowly finding his form again, he's had a mixed bag of very good and very ordinary performances lately. Another injury setback is not going to help him.

I voted Lampard, his record over the years is exceptional. They're never anything fancy, but he gets the job done. Villa is like that too. Ronaldinho and Ballack are both immense as well though.
