    Diego Forlan

Lmao Forlan has been one of La Liga's best strikers ever since he moved to the country. He was awesome at Villareal and did a better job than Torres at Atletico. He's a fantastic striker and if he were younger Barca may well have thought more seriously about him.

Yes because every England fan is the same as the hooligans in 2000  London has a hell of a lot more going for it than Liverpool. I know plenty of Northerners who aren't Pool fans but are passionate about the national team. When the World Cup comes along see how many cars are on the...

best moment: Iniesta vs Chelsea or beating Real Madrid 2:6 at San Bernabeu ?

I vote Iniesta's goal. It was just huge emotion in one moment, basically lost my voice, incredible goal. The 6-2 is something we'll never forget, but it was 90mins of awesomeness, so it was more drawn out and less dramatic.

Liverpool isn't a nation. It's a scummy part of the UK that noone outside Merseyside cares about. Pool fans consistently have that mentality, yet everyone else around England comes together and puts aside club rivalries to support their country. There's nothing hypocritical about that, it's...

There are no Englishmen at Barca so in that respect I don't worry about them coming back injured. The WC is the pinnacle of football and as a proud Englishman I'd love to see them do well. Barca go through bad periods but return to winning titles eventually. International football brings a...

    Maxwell

I have Luiz and Kjaer for my Sevilla team on FM2010 Estel  although Kjaer didn't develop that well. Based on this, I wouldn't support his signing for Barca.

    The La Liga Geriatric 11

Tamudo was cast aside by Espanyol for a large chunk of this season due to behind the scenes bollocks, whereas Henry has played plenty of matches nd been awful for most of them, as has Raul who despite scoring a couple of goals generally ruined Real's build up and attacking play. I'm sure there...

    Thiago Translantara

+1 He reminded me of someone watchign him against Sevilla but I couldn't think who! Definitely has that Deco poise and balance, couple with a lovely touch on the ball and good distribution. I was really impressed with the lad.

    Maxwell

He's also boosted sales of Maxwell House in Catalonia.

    Gabriel Milito

Definitely. To suffer and injury like that and then have further setbacks along the way, plus the fact he's not a spring chicken, shows great character on his part. Really pleased for the bloke and I hope he can reach his pre-injury level of performance, because he's an awesome player.

    Thiago or Jonathan?

Thiago impressed me more. Quietly went about his business in the middle, which is a good start on the way to becoming a Xavi-esque playmaker.

    Gabriel Milito

Truly was awesome to see him out there again. Would have loved to hear the reception when his name was read out prematch. He got plenty of cheers through the game though. He looked very good considering the length of time he's been away.

    Maxwell

Tbh he was bought as a back up for Abidal as long as the Frenchman's form improved which it has, so he's really there in case of an emergency. Felipe would have truly challenged Abidal for a first team spot.

    Dmytro Chygrynskiy

Chyg's passing stats are bollocks, because plenty of times his long pass found a player, but seen as that player a defender right next to them by the time they'd brought the ball down the full back was on top of them. He looked to go long farrr to often. Pique majority of the time has a great...

Thing is with Milito now back how many games is Chyg going to get? Ideally he'd have a run of 2-3 games at a time, but I don't see that happening tbh.

    Dmytro Chygrynskiy

The difference is Pique has an excellent football brain and reads the game superbly. Until Chyg improves in that respect he'll keep getting caught out. Hopefully he will move forward in that aspect, but it doesn't look good currently.

    Dmytro Chygrynskiy

Sorry but people are wanking over his passing in that game, there were soooo many times he dallied on the ball and had to rush a long range pass or just chose to hit it long when he had easier options. A good long range pass isn't just getting the ball to the player, it's playing it at the right...
