    Dmytro Chygrynskiy

It was shit play by Chyg for the pen, he got done by Capel and then put his hands on him because he was getting gassed. He tugged outside the box and it should have been a free kick, but he gave Capel the chance to try for a pen which he did, the ref bought it.

    Bojan Krkić

His movement is good and he's shown that plenty of times. He looks rusty on the ball though. He's a goalscorer, he's never been classed as a majorly creative player.

    Jeffren Suarez

I did miss Jeffren's performance that people were talking about at the World Club Cup, but whenever he has played I've not really been impressed tbh. He has some technical ability but seems to lack an intelligence in his play. Pedro's final ball might not be great but his movement and awareness...

Worst Manager of Barcelona in the last decade?

Definitely Van Gaal, Antic did a good job clearing up his mess, that season could have been so much worse.

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

Obviously the Dutch league doesn't have the same quality defenses, but generally you can accept that a player who scores that amount of goals is a pretty good finisher. If he gets chances (which he would at Barca) you'd think he'd chip with a fair few goals. The issue is normally whether his...

HOF's worst eleven to wear the Barcelona jersey in this decade.

I don't even remember Santamaria, but considering he played 6 games I don't think he can be classed as the worst tbh. Quaresma was pretty terrible whenever he played, Ezquerro was a joke of a signing. I know he came on a free but he was never Barca standard, it was embarrassing having him at the...

    Which player should replace Henry?

Villa Villa Villa! He could play the role just fine. Can't believe noone voted Mata, he's much more of a goal threat than Silva. Pedrito is awesome but I still wouldn't say he's ready to be our out and out LW yet.

    Andrés Iniesta

Oh yeh he got injured at the World Club Cup, I totally forgot about that.

    Andrés Iniesta

Why wasn't he starting earlier by the way, Villareal aren't an easy team? He definitely improved things when he came on, although a couple of times his decision making was poor. Nice strike at goal when he came inside though, and some awesome ball control to keep possession at times.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

    Messi was anonymous tonight

    Jonathan Dos Santos

Nah he wasn't great. He didn't really do anything special, just didn't do much wrong either.
  12. Cal-FCB

    Jonathan Dos Santos

Yeh he coped well considering the pressure Villareal were putting on the ball. I don't remember him gifting possession to them tbh.
  13. Cal-FCB

    Gerard Piqué

Yeh Pique and the other 3 were very dodgy tonight.
  14. Cal-FCB

    Thierry Henry

Pitiful? Ridiculous comment, he was easily one of our best players out there tonight, looked very dangerous throughout.

    Keirrison

Zaragoza would be a brilliant move for him, and for them. They are awful right now and if a proper goalscorer comes in it could be just what they need to move up the table. He'll get minutes there and experience of La Liga, it'd be a perfect move IMO.

    Best World Cup Ever

Yeh agree with you on that Meta. I voted 98 as well. I have vague memories of 94 but as I was 6 they aren't exactly vivid. 2002 suffered for some of the big teams going out early, plus S Korea's filth. 06 wasn't bad, Argentina and Germany were great to watch, but 98 definitely for me. Owen and...

Lack of scoring... Weakness of the attack or lack of bench

He's a good Prem striker, you wouldn't build your attack around him as a big side but he'd be either your 2nd striker to a main guy or an option from the bench. He'll score goals though. Not Barca quality however.

    Ludovic Giuly

Giuly was awesome, he was inconsistent but absolutely brilliant sometimes. Good work ethic as well, don't see how anyone could dislike him.
  19. Cal-FCB

    Bojan Krkić

Now he's scored that goal he'll have so much more confidence. You could see in the way he was missing chances that he was low on confidence, but he still took his goal brilliantly. As a striker all he needs is that one goalscoring boost and he'll feel he can score every time now.

Kaka in the nominees for Fifa World Player of the Year-Deserved or not?

Lmao exactly what I was thinking Hamzah, shows the mix of political voting, reputation, and the lack of club football most of that lot watch. No way should he be top 5. On form he's one of the very best, but he hasn't played well and has had a below par 12-18 months.
