How our attack should lool like against Arsenal ?

How our attack should lool? Let's win the game before we talk about laughing at Arsenal DM ;) Defo Pedro-Bojan-Messi for me. All 3 will give us huge fluidity going forward, we don't know if Campbell will play but if he does they will cause him total hell. If they drop song back there then...

    Eric Abidal

I don't think Abi will play CB though, it makes sense to play him at LB where he's been awesome. Walcott is sure to start and so we'll need Abi's pace out there. Yaya and Milito would be a good enough pairing IMO.

    Andrés Iniesta

Weird that. Tbh if Barca haven't reported it yet then I'm not buying it, if Iniesta was definitely out they'd have said something. It's still quite early as well, I'd imagine they'd leave it until late before deciding whether he's fit to play. We really need a Xaviesta midfield domination on Tues.

    Dmytro Chygrynskiy

Didn't think he looked great but you can't expect much from him given how little football he's played. Was caught napping or out of position a few times, also played the Bilbao player on for the goal. He looked very nervous in the first half when he had the ball etc, he needs football to...

    Eric Abidal

Great to see him back, straight into the swing of things. Massive boost for Tuesday, Abi has the pace to cope with Walcott and I don't see him causing problems like the first leg.

    Pedro Rodriguez

Pedro rested for Tuesday it looks like, he should start alongside Leo and Bojan.

    Bojan Krkić

Brilliant from Bojan, great all round performance and two outstanding finishes. The first was just so clinical. With Ibra out he has to start against Arsenal. I don't see him and Pedro fighting for the same spot, Bojan has shown time and again he's best in the middle, not out wide.

    Is football on the decline?

Yeh that's the point they were making though, they were missing Keane (they're captain and ballwinner in the middle) and Scholes (creative, goal threat, great in possession). They were two of their most important players, so it wasn't a surprise Bayern were the better side.

    Federico Macheda

Tbh the goal is Cech's fault anyway, he should either be catching that or leaving it for Terry (who would have cleared fairly easily). Macheda didn't seem to know much about it, it came pretty fast at him.

Marmite on toast is my normal breakfast, and I will be having it once more in a minute.

    Thierry Henry

Lmao, nowhere did I say we lost because of Henry. I said we could have done with something decent from him however, we were 2-1 down when he came on and needed to regain control of the match. All he did was stroll about and lose the ball, no pressure on their defence or anything. Sort out your...

    Thierry Henry

A massive contradiction :icon_confused: bar those few good games he's had his performances have lacked energy and enthusiasm, with plenty of whining when things don't go right. He had loads of chances until the new year when Pep finally started dropping him. He's just generally been bad and his...

    Thierry Henry

You guys are ridiculous. There is never any excuse for poor attitude and lack of effort. We had that in his first season but at least then he scored some goals (mostly small games), but this season he can't even do that. He's had maybe 3 good games all season, to start bringing up his divorce...

    Thierry Henry

+100 it was hugely irritating to see, especially when we needed a decent performance from him to help us kill off the game
  16. Cal-FCB

    Seydou Keita

I don't argue that, he's an excellent squad player to have and we don't have another real box-to-box cm like him. He's just not as good as the other midfield starters.
  17. Cal-FCB

    Seydou Keita

Totally agree Nolan. He does a bit of everything but with lots of stamina. In the box he's pretty good and times his runs nicely. But our play is always less fluent with him there as he's often slow on the ball.

    Yaya Toure

The dirty work is done by Busquets or Yaya, his defensive contributions are hardly huge.
  19. Cal-FCB

    Rafael Márquez

Keita played instead of Yaya because he naturally goes forward more. Although Yaya can burst through he's quite happy to sit deep and destroy, and seen as Biscuits was already playing Pep wanted a more offensive option.

    Yaya Toure

Ahh shit I totally forgot he was cup tied! Great stuff
