    Champions league 09-10

Going to be a very interesting game tonight. Robben is fit to play right? With him and Sweinsteiger back they'll be a lot more creative in this leg. United lack players who will stand up in Rooney's absence IMO. The service Berba got at the weekend was useless, they expect him to do the same as...

    Seydou Keita

Everyone worked hard, doesn't excuse giving the ball away all the time. The same applies to Dani.

How much do you hate Andy Gray?

He was an utter joke, sooo biased, even by his standards. His selective eyesight was just ridiculous. Xavi didn't get one mention from him despite another masterclass and beign chopped down every 5 minutes.

    Bojan Krkić

Didn't do badly, but couldn't get involved as much as he'd have liked. I agree he found himself too far from the goal at times.

    Gabriel Milito

Milito is such a legend. Shaky start (not surprised given his partner) but was solid for the rest. Bendtner never really got a look in.

    Thierry Henry

Delighted he didn't get on tonight. Bojan and Pedro weren't at their most effective but Pep still didn't bring him on. Good message to him.

    Pedro Rodriguez

Not as effective as the first leg, he wasn't quite on it tonight. A normal Pedro may well have scored IMO. Still though he kept his head beautifully to set up Leo, plus that great cross in the 2nd half.

    Eric Abidal

I really hope he's not out of the Clasico. We'll need him against the pace of CR et al.

    Seydou Keita

Wasn't impressed with Keita tbh, he gave the ball away a lot and constantly broke down moves. Nice header for Leo's 3rd but I thought he was once of our weakest players tonight.

    Xavi Hernández

2 incredible games from Xavi, I don't think he misplaced one pass at all tonight. The Sky commentators didn't mention him once, what a joke.

    Sergio Busquets

Yeh very good all round performance, not as good as the first leg but thought he was very tidy all game.
  12. Cal-FCB

    Daniel Alves

Thought he gave the ball away far too much, just like the 1st leg. Hope he picks it up for the Clasico.
  13. Cal-FCB

    Rafael Márquez

That first 30mins were scarier than any horror film. He did improve after that to be fair to him, but that had a fair bit to do with Leo killing Arsenal IMO.

    Yaya Toure

He was absolutely dreadful when he came on.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

What a performance, what goals, just incredible.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

If Big Gay Sol is playing though that will be a huge mismatch between him and Leo. Plus the fact that Song isn't playing. He was probably the biggest nuisance to Leo in that first leg, he stuck very close to him all the time. I can't see the likes of Denilson causing him much trouble. Then again...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

He didn't even play badly against Arsenal before, they focused all their efforts on him, and realising this he just kept passing to teammates in space. Ibra found space for the goals because they were worrying about Leo. It was an intelligent game from him. I expect him to take more of a leading...

    Yaya Toure

That's good news, no Yaya means Marquez will have to play!! Would have been surprised if the bruising hadn't gone by Tuesday really.
  19. Cal-FCB

    Alex Song

Silvestre has barely played at all, he'd be very rusty if he started.
  20. Cal-FCB

    Alex Song

Massive boost that Song is out, he played well in the first leg. So surely now Big Gay Sol will be CB? Or will Silvestre play? I guess Denilson will come in as well right?
