    The notion that we'd better fight till we drop for La Liga, is reminiscent of the disastrous tactics used by Stalin in the early stages of WW2. The Nazis demonstrated the same suicidal stubbornness after 1943 when they were clearly on the back foot. The results were disastrous in both cases.
