    Andrés Iniesta

Showed his brilliance yet again. I wanted Messi to move on the left (YES, on the left) and have Iniesta play more centrally. That would have drawn more players away from the center of Madrid's defense, and allow the more energetic player on the night to do his stuff in the middle.

2nd best in the world. For sure.

    Pepe

Like I have said on numerous times in the past: Mou is a piece of shit, and a clown. The fact that our society revers him, is the saddest manifestation of our current malaise (except the Kardashians of course)

    Pepe

This guy is a real piece of shit. No, no. This guy is a crime against humanity. To the Hague tribunal.

    Missed penalties, 2011-2012

Although there is contact against Iniesta from the Betis defender there, it is not enough to warrant a penalty. The yellow card was excessive on the other hand. For me, that is not a penalty. But I can recall two stonewall penalties not given this season. One against Valencia (which was also...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Unnecessary and infantile, I would add. Messi needs to rest in some games this season. Otherwise, there will be no CL for us, and no 4th consecutive ball for Leo.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

He did some good stuff alright. But by his standards, he was poor tonight.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

2nd consecutive poor game. I hope he is saving it for Madrid.

Who will win the 'Penalty d'Or' award?

Our boy getting into the race as well. Slowly, but surely. *Can we give this penalty back, and get the one against Asspanyol instead?

There is a massive difference between winning through sheer luck, a very cool head, or being aided by refs. We are here dealing with three different categories, that you are mistakenly mixing up.

    Wayne Rooney

Obviously needs to be schooled by Zenalty and Penaldo.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

By the way. The first Madrid goal tonight, was prolly a foul on Higuain's part.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

:worthy: Imagine this: Madrid plays Barca ----> German ref, or Belgian, or Russian, or Swedish or whatever. But not Spanish. The same if Madrid plays Valencia. United play Liverpool, or Arsenal, or City -------> Spanish ref, Scottish ref, or Italian or Swiss or whatever. Sounds awesome of...

Who will win the 'Penalty d'Or' award?

No penaldos today for Ronaldo. Zenalty, in with a shout.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

La Liga is sham this year. Everything goes Madrid's way... The penalty against Getafe, the not-given penalty for Valencia at the Mestalla, and now this. For us, no penalty against Valencia (stonewall) and a second yellow, disallowed goal against Getafe, clear penalty against Asspanyol. Just...
