I think Busi certainly said something, I don't think Marcelo would make it up totally given it has a racist element to it. He may have exaggerated what was said though, which is different. Either way it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. Marcelo is and always was a complete twat though...

Hopefully given that CR is miles ahead now Messi will accept a rest as he has no need to play the league games now. CR has been very prolific this season, and has nicely bumped up his total after the league was all but sewn up for Barca. Messi has contrubuted a hell of a lot more overall though...

That was only in his last season when the system stopped working completely. Big Frank was awesome and brought the good times back to Barca after many years in the doldrums. Things were spoilt near the end as players took advantage, he stayed a year too long in hindsight. You can't say he cared...

To be fair the link up between Villa and Messi before Villa's dip in form was amazing, as good if not better than him and Eto'o in the past. HEM was only great for one season, whereas we should get a few seasons out of MVP. So I'd go with our current front 3.

I think Afellay is better on the right hand side where he can use his pace more effectively. When on the left he's far too predictable, just cuts back and whips in an inswinger.

Jeffren has a decent amount of talent and good pace, but he'll never be proper Barca quality. I think he has Europa League potential, not more than that.

He has ability, away at Shakhtar he was excellent. But he's had no consistency so far, which is understandable given he's been in and out of the team. He does offer a directness and pace out wide that we generally don't have, he's a more powerful figure than Pedrito, so he still has a role to play.
