    Frank Rijkaard

Hahaha damn right Aasim, Frank is lining his pockets. Was hoping to see him take a decent role in Europe this summer though, would have been nice to see him in the spotlight again.

    Juliano Belletti

Absolute legend, that moment was special. Great guy, he scored some crackers at Chelsea.

    Alternative For Sanchez

It is absolutely laughable to keep comparing Mata to Bojan. Mata played a crucial part in Valencia finishing 3rd last season, having to step up after Silva and Villa, their two best players, were sold in the same summer. He is full of confidence and has had the benefit of playing regular...

    Thiago Translantara

Would be interesting to see him in that role. I certainly think he could do a job out wide in the same fashion as Iniesta, but given he's quite comfortable in front of goal there's no reason why he couldn't adapt to that area.

    Alternative For Sanchez

Mata or Rossi for me, both have a great left foot, Rossi is a better goal threat though. I voted Mata as I think he'd be cheaper, but I'd be happy with either. Honestly though assuming we sign Cesc for around 40m Euros, how much are we going to have to spend on one of these players, even with...

    Thiago Translantara

It would be a big mistake to sell him even with a buyback clause IMO. He would lose that connection with the club I think, he's a confident lad and if he did well elsewhere he might not want to return. A loan is a better option, although I'd prefer him to stay altogether. That said Pep needs to...

    Neymar - v2

LOL at that pic  I imagine Chelsea and Real may well have bid the release clause, they both have strong interest. No way would we have though, I don't think we'd want him given his character, and we have our own expensive deals to complete.

    Giovani dos Santos

Well hopefully he doesn't go for peanuts then. If Sevilla pay about £6m then we should receive about half a mil which would be nice, it all adds up in the transfer kitty

    Jeffren Suarez

Can't see why he'd want to go to Fulham ahead of Udinese, unless it was simply a pride thing because he wouldn't just be a makeweight.
  10. Cal-FCB

    Juan Manuel Mata

Villa reported in EMD saying he'd love to play alongside Mata at Barca :D give Valencia Jeffren and some cash, we'd save a lot of money.
  11. Cal-FCB

Who would you sign between Cesc or Sanchez this season?

I think try and get a cheaper deal for Mata instead of Sanchez, who's price is going up daily, and see what we can do on the Cesc deal, maybe knock a few million off the price. Mata is awesome and already suited to La Liga.

    Keirrison

I feel really sorry for him, we basically ruined his career. I hope he regains form one day. Right now though I fail to see what we can do with him, seen as he's been so bad since we bought him.

    Keirrison

What the hell are we going to do with this guy? Who will buy him now?

OMG that assist for Aguero's goal was unbelievable

    NextGen Series (U19)

Be interesting to see which players we take to this. Should be fascinating to watch though, great idea.
  16. Cal-FCB

    Thiago Translantara

Exactly. And it's not like he hasn't shown any potential when he's been given chances. We're potentially going to spend around 90% of our declared transfer budget on one player, someone who'd go in ahead of him on the ladder, despite other positions being more shortstaffed. Not unreasonable to...

    Thiago Translantara

Couldn't give a shit about his comments, the boy has huge talent and potential, and even a pay rise would still be infinitely cheaper than buying Cesc. Losing him would be ridiculously stupid.
  18. Cal-FCB

    Should Barca keep Bojan?

I vote loan. He needs regular minutes, not 5mins every fortnight, to become a top player. That won't happen currently at Barca, so send him somewhere he'll get football. If he doesn't want a loan, then sell him, possibly with a buyback for when he does reach his potential.

    Frank Rijkaard

dalitis = deletethis Seriously you'd expect this kind of comment from some new member joining to wind everyone up.
  20. Cal-FCB

Sign them now or later ??? And who?

I'd sign Cesc and Rossi now. Sanchez price is rocketing with City's bids, he will be nearly as expensive as Cesc. We don't need all 3 anyway IMO. Rossi wants to come, he's already in Spain, and he's a greater goal threat. No point getting Cesc next summer.
