Yeah and Afellay had 6 months left on his contract hence why he went so cheap. It's a lot to pay but English young players cost more and that's that. We can more than afford it and I'm sure our scouts have watched him for a long time to see if he's good enough. Rather £10m now then potentially...

I think around the same as Theo. £5m up front plus another £5m on clauses. Quite a lot for unproven talent but he does sound good.

Yeah he couldn't cut it in the CL final which he scored in and was excellent in... His countless goals and assists prove he's a world class attacking midfielder. He also tracks back and works hard. He may not be a dribbler but that doesn't mean he isn't wc. Name 5 more outstanding AM's than him.

Sorry but Lampard is a world class attacking midfielder. Just look at his stats since he joined Chelsea, unreal. It's because he's 'fat' and english that he doesn't get the credit he deserves.

Yeah, I've heard he has a massive attitude problem which is why Fergie doesn't want to put him in the limelight too much. Henry Winter did say that he thinks he's better than Wilshere but Winter is a massive Man U/Fergie arse licker.

What's the fuss about Morrison? Saw him play against Arsenal reserves and Chuks Aneke(top prospect) looked a lot better. Aneke is a beast, won't be the best player in the world in 4-5 years time but could very well be a regular for Arsenal and England. Very similar to Yaya Toure but a better passer.
