    Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

People responding to you getting excited that a 17 year old is apparently going to flop which is really sad. Or rather people responding to your usual, boring anti-English shit. Good job people in England don't give a crap about Scotland and the lack of talent over there, isn't it?

    The need for Cesc.

It may not be as high as Rosell claims but I don't think that Barcelona can, at this point, afford to spend £45m+ on a player who will not greatly improve their current starting 11. The only team that can is Manchester City.

    The need for Cesc.

So you're suggesting that Barcelona should waste £45m+ buying Fabregas which would increase their debt and then break up the best footballing duo in the world (Xaviesta) in the process? Oh dear....

    Mamadou Sakho

Maxifoot, France Football and L'Equipe have all tipped him to sign for Arsenal in the summer. Massive coup if we pull that off.

    Fernando Torres

    Who?
  6. Bergkamp10

    Fernando Torres

The timing of it is very bad. Liverpool should probably just make Torres stay until the summer because as you said, who will you realistically get? I'm very surprised because since Kenny took over, he's looked a lot more interested and happy. But I guess he feels Chelsea have a better chance of...

Have you ever been called a glory hunter?

Should have made my point clearer. I was speaking more about (for example) London based Manchester United fans who have no emotional ties with the club. I know it's difficult for fans living in the US or Australia for example. Didn't mean fans like you, more just some of the 'fans' I know. For...

    Fernando Torres

Yeah I'm kind of shocked he's asked to leave right now. Liverpool seem to be getting back on track, the window ends in 3 days and they've just made a very exciting signing which shows the owners are ready to invest. Odd. Hope he stays because Drogba/Torres will just destroy every defence they're...

    Fernando Torres

But Torres has done it on a wet Tuesday night in Stoke. Has Villa? Using Andy Gray's logic, Torres >>>>>>> Ameobi >>>>> Villa.

    Fernando Torres

Why would Liverpool want Sturridge though? He's a bit rubbish. I can't see Chelsea going over the £40m mark especially with Torres' injury record. Also, I thought Torres said he'd never sign for an English club?

    Carlos Vela

^ Lol harsh but true. Apparently he's amazing in training but I just don't see anything there with him. Decent finisher when we're already 3-0 up but he seems overweight and is apparently a bit of a party boy. Hopefully he proves me wrong at West Brom .

    Fernando Torres

    Drogba - Torres - Anelka....wow Fuck width.

    Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

That's really said if you want to see a 17-year old you've never met flop because he's English. Really, really pathetic.

    Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Seems the deal is done just depends on whether he goes back to Southampton for the rest of the season or comes to Arsenal now. Happy with the signing, always nice to get exciting young English players in. I expect him to replace Rosicky next season.

Have you ever been called a glory hunter?

Well for me, if someone's only started supporting a club because of their success then they're are a glory hunter. Dress it up however you like but they are. I find it hard to take people seriously if they've only been supporting a club like Barcelona or Manchester United for a short amount of time.

Have you ever been called a glory hunter?

No because I was born in Islington and Arsenal's been in my family since the 1930s so there was no other option but Arsenal. Had a season ticket since I was 8 and will continue supporting the club through thick and thin.

    Vincent Kompany

He is such a beast. I think going to Hamburg and developing there was the best thing he could have done for his career - as oppose to going to Chelsea/Madrid who all wanted him when he was at Anderlecht. Meant he got regular playing time and was more than ready for a move to a bigger challenge...

    Andrés Iniesta

I could watch that goal again and again. Went mad when he scored that and will always have a soft spot for him purely because of that goal against that scum. Iniesta - goal machine :)

    Robin van Persie

RvP :worthy: Ridiculously good when he's fit. Let's hope this is the end of his injury problems, wish he'd retire from international football. http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/robin-van-persie-2-wigan-8255958/ The best goal of his hattrick today.

    Samir Nasri

The players are voting now and it's all fixed for media darling Gareth Bale to win it. Which would be very undeserved.
