    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Messi was better than Ronaldinho, but I kinda preferred watching Ronaldinho. He was so unpredictable and skillful, watching him was genuinely pure entertainment. Messi is phenomenal though.

    Mario Balotelli

Sorry, you want an essay? He's not a cheater, when he was younger he dived but not now. And we may not know exactly what he's like off the pitch but he seems to be a good example.

    Mario Balotelli

He may be petulant but off the pitch he was accused of rape once and the girl admitted she lied. Now he has 2 kids and is married, never see him stumbling out of night clubs or cheating. Just lives a quiet life and keeps himself to himself.

    Mario Balotelli

Van Persie. I can see why people hate Balotelli, RvP not so much.

    Fernando Torres

West Ham today...can he finally score?

    Hulk

    1) I really think he'll sign for City. 2) Wenger would never spend £25m+ on one player. Until he goes we won't be making any big signings. Expect the top scorer from the Somalian league to join this summer and if we're lucky a winger with 3 assists from the French 4th division.

    Mario Balotelli

Van Persie :worthy: he's actually a decent guy who doesn't cheat on the pitch..don't get the hate for him?

    Hulk

He'd be amazing but it'll never happen.

    Hulk

According to Hulk's agent he has already agreed to join a club for next season. I'm thinking City if Tevez is off to Inter. United? Doubt it. Liverpool? No way. Spurs? Unlikely, why would he go to a small club? Arsenal? No he'd cost more than 50p and a packet of crisps. And can't see him going...

    Fernando Torres

I doubt it, he's only had one prolific season in his whole career and that was under Rafa. It's like a Mark Hughes-Craig Bellamy thing, only Rafa can truly get the best out of Torres. Meh don't act like you wouldn't ;) :D

    Giuseppe Rossi

Do Barcelona need another small front player? The front 3 are great but IMO you need a backup striker who's different to your front players - A Drogba type.

    Fernando Torres

Proof he really is a girl.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Congrats Real, really impressed with Mou's tactics once Ronaldo scored, perfect closing out of the game.

Real v Barca: teams of the century

    *not sure if serious pic*

Real v Barca: teams of the century

Madrid's team is better...just. Agree with what Ed said, the midfield is more balanced. You can't not have a holding player behind Xaviesta imo. There's too much space between the midfield and defence, Zidane would run riot.

    Fernando Torres

Guillem Balague was on the radio last night, said Torres is very unhappy but will keep trying and wants to stay at Chelsea.

    Vincent Kompany

He can play there but he's been CB for City and has been immense.
  19. Bergkamp10

    Vincent Kompany

Puyol is 33?? I genuinely have only just found this out, thought he was about 29  In that case Kompany would be perfect for Barcelona but how do you sign the richest team in the world's star defender unless he puts in a transfer request? Going to Hamburg and not straight to a "big" club...

    Vincent Kompany

Why would he go to Barcelona to sit on the bench? He's very good though, has been on par with Vidic this year and is getting better as the season gets on.
