    Barca elections 2015

I'm liking Freixa more than Benedito. Strange that when Laporta mentioned Mino Raiola no one talked about his commission rate. Laporta only smiles and mentions names. He's relying too much in his own charisma and among the candidates seems the less invested in the club right now.

    Pedro Rodriguez

Yeah, both are from the Canary Islands. :pique:
  3. Zinedinho

    Ivan Rakitić

That's because his work rate is insane.
  4. Zinedinho

    Pedro Rodriguez

This season will be tougher. It will be a shorter season because of the Euro, and there will probably (hopefully) be more games since we will play 6 competitions. We need depth, we need Pedro.
  5. Zinedinho

    Arda Turan

It's shocking that he doesn't speak Spanish. He needs to improve that, and he'll have plenty of time during the first half of the season unless he keeps living surrounded by people who speak Turkish. Aside from that, he seems like a very likeable and charismatic guy.

    Yevhen Konoplyanka

Yeah, I'm excited already. Besides, all three teams have very demanding and competitive coaches. It's looking good.

    Barca elections 2015

    I would vote Freixa.
  8. Zinedinho

    Arda Turan

I kept wondering after reading this. How do you contrast intensity with work-rate? What do you mean, exactly?
  9. Zinedinho

    David Villa

    Whose defeat? What defeat?
  10. Zinedinho

    Mario Gotze

Not even CM creative ability. He's just not that kind of player.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v4

  12. Zinedinho

    Luis Enrique

With Guardiola attached to it I read "baldly". Pros about Arda: he's proven in La Liga, he's a very competitive player, technically great, great dribbling, great short passing. I think he fits like a glove.
  13. Zinedinho

    Camp Nou

These stats show that we don't really need a bigger stadium.
  14. Zinedinho

    Mario Gotze

So we should sign Alexis Sánchez again? :p
  15. Zinedinho

    Mario Gotze

Why? What has he done to deserve our interest?
  16. Zinedinho

    Arda Turan

I've seen this argument innumerable times. In the end, this is like asking why are you happy when your team wins. After all, you win nothing and your life stays the same. Reasonable fans of sport clubs care about how the money is spent because spending money has consequences for the club they...

    Joan Laporta

That's so populist it's not even populist. It's like watching a bad movie with plot twists you just can't believe. Same with Qatar / Unicef. He has a gold mine there, but his criticism is so infantile it's hard to take him seriously. I know politics is a lot about getting across simplistic...

    Josep Maria Bartomeu

So you think it's a good thing to give the coach what he wants... Wait! No, you don't? Agreed. Laporta was important and overall our best president to date in my opinion. But with "club morals" you mean his business in Uzbekistan? Or maybe spying? Or squandering on jets, tickets...
  19. Zinedinho

    Arda Turan

He's very good. He can perfectly bench Iniesta or Rakitic. The collateral damage is our youngsters, particularly Rafinha and Samper. They have a chance to prove themselves in the first half of the season.
  20. Zinedinho

    Yevhen Konoplyanka

Not the smartest thing to do. Maybe he's making some rudimentary inductive reasoning: the best way to play for Barça is go to Sevilla first (Alves, Keita, Adriano, Rakitic and Vidal). But seriously, there seems to be a very good relationship between the two clubs, and that could help maximize...
